Mikka, I'm so sorry I missed that (not so little) detail about your choking incident at The Kitchen!! How frightening! I'm sure that's not something you will be able to forget about soon. Hopefully they treated you well, and professionally! Hugs to you for the ordeal.
They definitely did. If you have to go and choke somewhere, I definitely recommend the Kitchen.

They were very kind and professional.
Thank you everyone, for the comments!
After a somewhat short day at Bush Gardens, we came back and decided somewhat stupidly to go to DTD. It was a Friday night, so the place was of course packed- finding a parking space took a long time (we should have just gone to the last parking area, as there are always spaces there, but we thought we'd be able to find something). We got in Paradiso 37 immediately, but service was basically glacial- it took forever to get anything.
We started with drinks- mom had one of their margaritas, and I had the 'Mangled Margarita', which was frozen margarita and frozen sangria layered. Mom says those are relatively common, but I had never had one before. It was good. The fact that it came in a Bud Light glass amused me.
We made a meal of two appetizers. First was the Crazy Corn- corn on the cob with 'spicy yellow pepper sauce' and cheese, lots of cheese. I didn't taste that much spice, but I tasted a lot of yumminess. This was delicious and addicting, and by the time I was done I wished there was more of it to eat. Definitely a winner.
Fried plantains, the side. Mom ordered them because I'd never had them before. I liked them. They were slightly sweet... I guess that's usual? You almost could have had them for dessert.
The Mexican Dipping Trio (not pictured: the huge bag of tortilla chips that came with it)- 'Chunky Guacamole, Chili con Carne & Spinach Queso Dips'. The problem was we ate the Crazy Corn first, and by the time we started on the dips the Spinach Queso cheese had started to become hard rather then all light and cheesy. It was still tasty, but I left it and the guacamole mostly to mom and concentrated on the chili, which I very much enjoyed (but really, it was standard chili- just like the guacamole was standard guacamole). This was good, and served it's purpose, but next time we go I think we'll order something a bit more exciting.
I'd never had a churro, either, which made the choice of Churros & Sopapillas for dessert an easy one. I decided I liked the churros better then the sopapillas (which were like doughnut holes). These came with chocolate and caramel dipping sauces, which tasted good... but it was especially good when you dipped something in
both of them. All in all, a fun dessert, even if it was just more empty carbs.
Next, I think, is Le Cellier. I'll try not to let there be as long a wait with that one!
