wow i can't believe only a few people were dressed as pirates..I already have my two sons costume and I'm going to get mine next month...even if we are the only ones, we are definately going to be in costume for our cruise...I'll sub to see how it all works out for you!

Yes, we'll be going on the Dream cruise next June for my DD's 16th birthday, another mom/daughter trip!!! Can't wait!

I think I remember you telling me that now. What an awesome birthday present!! I bet y'all are both so excited about it!!

Yeah, I was sad that not very many people dressed up either. Maybe it will be different this time around!

Wow, I can't believe how fast this cruise is coming! I'm really excited, but nervous at the same time!! All these hurricanes defintely have the DH and I a little worried! I'm trying to keep a positive attitude. This is what it's looking like now:

However, in more positive news, we made our decision about whether or not to dress up for Pirate Night. I'll leave our decision as a surprise until I write the report!!

Our budget is also coming along nicely! My birthday was this past weekend, and I got a Disney gift card from my Mom, and cash from my Dad--so those will definitely be used on the cruise! Mike got me the Vera Bradley Weekender that I've been asking for, so I was really excited about that. I'll try and post some pics soon.

As far as the FE exchange, I decided to gracefully bow out. Unfortunately, I just don't think that I can get everything done between now and then. I think Mike was a little disappointed when I told him that I'd asked to be taken off the list, but I think he understands as well. He knows how stressed out I get over these kinds of things!!

It looks like this weekend will be the only one that we'll have to get stuff done between now and the cruise. We're actually headed to Bowling Green, KY next weekend to attend a concert and visit Mike's brother, so I'm excited about that as well!! I'll make sure to post pics when we get back.

So, those are all the updates for now. The only things left on the list are to pick up our dress-up clothes from the cleaners, then pack, and that's it!

Hi Missy. A belated Happy B-Day. It is my DW B-Day today! We see a lot of similarities between the two of us and the two of you. (although we are about ten years older). We are using DVC points as well from a cancelled trip for the Wonder on Sep 19th We had booked the Trans-Atlantic. Now Wonder and then 5 nights at Yacht Club. We also do not plan on getting off in Nassau. Just enjoying pool and ship. We will be one of the first to be off the ship at CC to snorkel and then head over to adult beach. OK. I have rambled enough, 18 days to go!

Hi there! We actually booked through DVC since we're cruising on points, which is pretty much the same as going directly through DCL. We received our docs on 8/16, which was a week or so after the 45 day mark. Did your agent tell you if the docs would come to her first, or if they would be sent directly to you?

Sorry to hear that you had to cancel your trans-atlantic voyage, but glad to know that we'll be cruising together!! Which dinner seating will you and your wife be at?
I'm very envious that you'll be spending 5 nights in Disney after the cruise, and at the Yacht Club on top of that!!
I certainly hope that Mike and I are able to meet your and your wife while onboard, especially since we have so much in common!

Thanks! I have been very slow lately about getting my recent Spring Break TR done, but I am trying to get it finished so I can add a couple "mini-TR's" of Peru, Charleston, and the upcoming Myrtle Beach trip. My DD is wanting to go to Six Flags for their Fright Fest sometime next month, so I'll be in your neck of the woods! Sent you another PM, not sure if the recent one went through.

Wow, time is really ticking away! I can't believe how close this cruise is now!! Most everything is taken care of, so other than the actual packing, we really don't have much left to do! We picked up our dress clothes from the cleaners over the weekend, and have all our suitcases out and ready to be filled! I've picked up the few little things that we needed at Wal-Mart, so we're good to go there as well!

This is a short work week for me, so I'm really excited about that! Mike and I are leaving for Kentucky on Friday morning, so I can't wait! Mike's brother works for GM, and when the plant here closed down, he got transferred to the Corvette plant up there. We've been wanting to go up and see him, but we just haven't made it yet. Turns out, that my very favorite singer is doing a concert at a festival this weekend, so we get to visit with DBIL and see the concert! On Friday, DBIL is taking us on a tour of the plant, and then Saturday evening is the concert. Saturday is also our 11 year anniversary, but since we're going on the cruise, we're not really doing anything special. However, I did find out that our favorite restaurant has a location in Bowling Green, so we're planning to eat there for lunch--it's the same restaurant that we went to on our first official date!! My DSIL and her family are going up as well, so we'll probably have breakfast with everyone before we head back home on Sunday!

Other than that, those are all the updates that I have for now. I'll make sure and post a mini-TR of our Kentucky trip once we get back. Only 10 days to go until we leave for FL!!
