My doctor is recommending I try it and I'm seeing someone next week to see if I'm a candidate. From what I've read, I'm pretty excited-- it can offer up to 3 months relief.
You mean I could get botox to clear up my migraines?? Sign me up! In all seriousness I used to have terrible migraines and used lodine. I now only have a reoccurance about 1-2 times per year.
Woohoo! No experience with it, but sure hope it works!!
Good luck, Donna. I sure hope you find some relief soon, I don't know how you make it from day to day!
Cathy
Wishing you good luck. I have migraines to so I know how you feel. I hope it works for you. nativetxn, thanks for the encouraging post. My doctor says that mine might stop at menopause, I'm getting there, so I'm really hoping.
If it doesn't work, I'll at least be rid of my frown lines on my forehead. LOL That was actually how they discovered it worked. People receiving it for cosmetic reasons found that their migraines got better.
Here's an article for anyone interested. This showed up in Sunday's paper, which sure was a coincidence since it was last Tuesday that my doctor recommended it.
