Just an update - DS was born last Saturday, and DH and I decided on a name while I was in labor. We decided on John David. Thanks for all the suggestions though! We know the the DIS is the best place to come for good advice (even if we don't take it)

Here's a picture of John

Awwww, congrats!

I think Aaron Michael is nice. But I am sure when he arrives he will just "look" like what you should name him and it'll come to you.

Congrats again!

Congrats..and Aaron Michael is exactly what I first thought too!

Good luck!

Aaron Michael is nice. Our last name starts with L. Do you think that makes a difference? We will call him by his first name.

Thanks!

What is your DH's name? I always like giving boys their father's name for a middle name. If we had had a boy, his middle name would have been the same as DH's middle name - Jon.

DisUnc is a nice name!;)

Congrats & Enjoy one of the best times of your life!

How many syllabls in your last name?

Aaron Michael sounds nice. How about, Aaron James? Just a thought.

Congrats by the way.

Aaron Michael is what I was going to suggest!! CONGRATS!!

I was going to say Aaron Michael, too! I guess it just sounds right. Aaron David is also nice, or Aaron Jacob.

Last name is 2 syllables. DH's middle name is Daves. We were going to use David as a middle name, but don't like it with Aaron.

DisUNC...we are both UNC grads. The baby room is a Tar Heel theme. We just happen to like more traditional names.

I never thought I'd get this many responses. Thanks so much. I'm headed out to run some errands, but will check back soon.

Keep those recommendations coming!!

My son is Michael James. Those are my two favorite names, so I pick one of those. :teeth:

My Dad and grandfather are Aaron Clay, My uncle Aaron Mark, I have cousins, named Aaron Todd, Aaron Roderick, Aaron Thomas, Aaron Michael, Aaron Christopher, and Aaron Phillip.

My nephew is Aaron Logan, and his brother Aaron Evan. Their twin sisters are Taylor Erin, and Hannah Erin.

DH nephew is Aaron Tyler.

Popular name in our family. Most everyone goes by their middle names.

BTW, my favorites are Aaron Christopher, and Aaron Clay. Aaron Michael is good too.

Also- I was the bad daughter- My girls do not have Erin, or Aaron in their name.

I had a son named Aaron Richard. We went with that middle name because it was my dad's name.

Do you want to honor your dh or either of your fathers by giving him one of their names? I think that's so nice.

If not, here are some names I like:

Aaron Bennett
Aaron Christopher
Aaron Henry
Aaron Isaiah
Aaron Levi
Aaron Matthias
Aaron Phillip
Aaron Thomas
Aaron Stuart
Aaron William
Aaron Tobias
Aaron Blake
