There was just no way that I could resist the 25% off the Cirque tickets. Had to take advantage of the great deal.

Oh boy! A new surprise! YAY!

(Good luck with those loose lips! LOL!) :rotfl:

Ahh, loose lips......more on that story coming up.

Happy Mother's Day!!princess::flower3:

Thank You!

First off you never know what charters you may run across or what they may be doing.

Yes that is Max and he is folding towels.

And also don't forget to look for where they pick up the Air mail for the post office.

I love me some Max! Thanks so much for the pictures. They make me even more excited...if that's possible.

Yeah for a new secret:cool1: I hope you have a great mothers day and it doesn't rain on your parade!

I'm sent you a pm:)

Thanks for the Mother's Day wishes. I hope that it was a great one for you as well.

About to respond to the pm.

:woohoo: for the new surprise!! We haven't seen Cirque du Soliel La Nouba yet but have read really great things about it!!:thumbsup2 I need to look into it for a future trip!!:)

I'd suggest that you sign up for the Cirque emails. That's how I got the 25% off discount.

So far we have not told our kids...However my hubby can't keep a secret so I am thinking that they will be told before to long! I would love to keep my mouth shut and just surprise them one morning...but I LOVE to talk Disney and I don't know if I can do it!

Girl, I feel your pain. It's so hard to keep a secret, especially about a Disney trip.

I'm back and all caught up! How great that you got to add an extra day, even if that meant giving up one of your secrets, ok both of your secrets. ;) La Nouba wow! That's great and what a wonderful surprise. :thumbsup2. I've only been to one Cirque de Soleil show I've seen Wintuk. I thought it was great but, I went with a friend who has been to many of their shows and she told me that Wintuk was kind of disappointing, ever since then I've been wanting to go see another.

La Nouba sounds like fun! I'm glad you were able to add to another surprise to your trip! :thumbsup2

Have you started packing yet?

If Loose Lips Sink Ships, We Need To Grab A Lifevest!

Friday evening, we took Hunter and two of his friends out to eat and to the movies to celebrate Hunter's birthday. Poor thing, his birthday falls near the Memorial Day weekend and it's hard to plan a birthday party for him 'cause everybody is either going out of town or they are getting together with their own families. We gave him the choice of having some of his friends come over and having a Minute To Win It Party or take two or three guys and go to eat and the movies. He chose the movies because several of his friends were gone on a school trip.

Anyway, we took the guys out to eat and then dropped them off at the movies and John and I went to find another set of luggage. While looking at luggage at Academy Sports (if you have an Academy in your area and need luggage, go there because their prices are great), I mentioned to John that I told ya'll about the Cirque tickets and the surprise. Our conversation went a little something like this:

John: Can you tell what price this set is?

Lisa: Looks like $69.99. Did I tell you that I told my Dis friends about buying the Cirque tickets?

John: You do know that you've gone and blown it, don't you?

Lisa: How did I blow it?

John: This sucker rolls good. Try it.

Lisa: Yeah, it rolls good. What do you mean I blew it?

John: Lacey and Jesse are going to read about the tickets and know the secret. I think we should get this set.

Lisa: They don't read the Disboards you dummy. Wanna scan the bar code to make sure that it really is $69.99?

John: I bet they do. Look at this little button on the handle. That's pretty cool.

Lisa: Do what? The scanner is over here.

John: I bet Lacey and Jesse do read the Disboards and they are sitting in their apartment jumping up and down 'cause we're going to Cirque du Soliel. Do you want the red set or the black one?

Lisa: I told you they don't read my trip reports on the Disboards. Black I guess since we already have black luggage.

John: But everybody reads your trip reports. Wanna hop on and ride over to the scanner?

Lisa: No I don't want to ride on the suitcase over to the scanner and no not everybody reads my trip reports, especially Lacey and Jesse. The secret is safe.

John: I bet it's not.

Lisa: Bet it is.

We purchased the luggage set and were on our way with our secret still intact in my mind and blown to smitherines in John's.

Saturday afternoon, John and I were working on the cabinet job again and every once in a while he'd say "bet they know" as I passed by. "Bet they don't" I'd say back. Later that evening, John was resting in the living room and I passed through. That conversation sounded like this:

John: What are you fixin' to do?

Lisa: Sit down and check my emails. Why?

John: Why don't you go see if they know about the Cirque du Soliel tickets?

Lisa: I've already told you that they don't read the Disboards so how would they know? And where the heck am I supposed to look to "see if they know"?

John: They just do. I know it. Go see.

Lisa: Whatever!

John: Oh crap!

Lisa: What?

John: I hope Hunter didn't just hear me. Do you think he did?

Lisa: Are you kidding me? He's a teenage boy with a crapload of games, three guitars, a cellphone and a laptop. Get real! He ain't heard a word we said and he ain't gotta clue.

John: Whew, that was a close one. I didn't want to be the one who blabbed. I'm leaving that up to you Sweetie Britches.

Lisa: I appreciate that but the gig ain't up Loose Lips. (said as I wiggled my behind all the way across the room)

John: Shake it baby. Shake it!

So, unless you guys have given Hunter, Lacey or Jesse a call, the secret is still safe.

La Nouba sounds like fun! I'm glad you were able to add to another surprise to your trip! :thumbsup2

Have you started packing yet?

La Nouba is fantastic! We love it and I'm excited about having another secret.

I packed some of my things this weekend but haven't done a thing with John or Hunter's. How about you?

Welcome home! I can hardly wait to hear all about your Disney adventures. I have only seen one Cirque show and that's La Nouba but Lacey has seen Quadam (Spelling?) and said it was great too. I hate that Wintuk was disappointing for your friend. :guilty:

:rotfl2: I want to be a fly on the wall at your house :rotfl2:

Lisa, you could just put up a disclaimer on this PTR, that if your name is Lacey or Jesse you are nort allowed to read it. That would stop them....:rolleyes1

Not much yet. I have a few snacks and things bought, but not packed. I also have my dresses pulled aside in the closet, but that's as far as I've gotten.

I did wonder to myself earlier if Lacey read your TRs...

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I hope that your secret is still safe. I promise that I have not told Lacey, Jesse, or Hunter if that helps.:rotfl:

Doh - I love Cirque! I was in section 102 and, like Brook, I practically had a bike in my lap, but I wished I was further up to see the ariel stuff. Great show. Fastest 90 minutes EVER! :cool1: Woo Hoo for surprises!

And, thank goodness the secret is still safe!

You guys crack me up!! The conversations at your house sound just like the conversations at mine....Must be those Louisiana Boys!:cool1:

I promise on my girl scout honor (and, yes, I was a girl scout!), that I have not told Hunter, Lacey, or Jesse! :)

You do have to be careful, though. Elizabeth found out about her surprise 16th birthday trip through these boards!

Yay for going to see Cirque!! You have so many awesome things planned for your trip!!!

I'm glad your secret is still safe!! :thumbsup2

I just wanted to let you know I called Lacey last night and I filled her in on EVERYTHING......she's pretty excited. :rotfl2:

:ssst: I think your secret is still safe. I love the way y'all banter back and forth. Too cute!
