Mickeystoontown's Gang hits the Bahamas & WDW! Who gets choked or stuck this time?

Hi Lisa,
Yeah for the extra day and the Cirque tickets!! That will be an awesome surprise!!

I was thinking about you last night....I had read your update (about your surprise being blown) and I had a thought on how you could still surprise everyone.... you could call Disney and change where you all are staying! now, wouldn't that be a SURPRISE! LOL

I think those seats sound idea. I was 2 rows behind Brook and I had a neck ache after the show....I think Brook pretty much wads laying down to see. :rotfl2:

How fun!! I love surprises!! I had booked a Disney trip for my family for November and did not tell anyone! Well for two months :( A few weeks ago my hubby and I had a lunch date and were talking about our upcoming trip and I blurted out "well we will just have to do that when we go back in November"...Surprise blown :( Although he could not believe I booked a trip without telling him LOL!

That soooo sounds like something that I'd do....just blurt it out without thinking. Wait a minute....that is what I did. :lmao:

So did you tell the kids that ya'll are going in November or are you keeping it a secret?

I forgot about you having bad seats too. I don't see why they call the "front and center" and "category 1" seats the best in the house. I think the Category 2 seats are.

Oh goodness alive....I'd be a nervous wreck if I changed things up now. We'd probably end up at the wrong resort 'cause I couldn't keep everything straight. :rotfl:

Yay! Yay!! New Surprise!! I love it!!

I'm happy to have another surprise to spring on the unsuspecting. :thumbsup2

Getting caught up, that's great you get to add on an extra day! Too bad you won't get to stay at POR but I would have done the same thing to get that great price!

Sorry all your planned surprises went down the tubes but at least now you have a new one, and a great one, too!

I'm pretty darn excited about the extra day but sad that we were not getting to try POR. :(

Aww...thanks Lisa! I actually should update that picture since the baby has grown! LOL!

Those two are the cutest!

Yay for a new secret!! Sounds like a great night. I think that you, 'self', and John made a great choice! :rotfl:

:woohoo:

I love that every time you turn on your computer your trip gets better and better!

You *COULD* get a Passport Travel Card. It's sole purpose in life is for people to use on cruises- it's not good anywhere else in the world other than North America. Those are about half the price of a regular passport book. In case anyone is interested! :goodvibes

YAY for La Nouba!!! I think those seats will be good! And Jesse will be so excited! :hyper:

it has now been confirmed that lacey's loose lips have blabbered to jesse that they are now staying at the caribbean beach resort the whole time.

oh, rats!

me: I'm jumping on those tickets like a hobo on a muffin.

John: Oh and call me back so we can talk about where we want to eat. I don't want to starve to death that night. Otherwise i may just have to fight that hobo for his muffin.

Ahhhh. . .another belly laugh for me!!!:rotfl2: I don't believe i've ever heard that expression, but plan to use it ;)

so, now we have a new secret and i am keeping my lips closed tight on this one. There will be no blabbing out this secret. Only john and i will know all the way up to the time we leave our dinner reservation. Speaking of which, i made a 7:00 p.m. Reservation at the house of blues. We have never eaten there and i figured there would be something there that everybody would enjoy and it's right next to cirque du soliel so we won't have to rush to get across downtown disney.

I'm so excited to have a s-e-c-r-e-t! :cool1:

yay for a secret! :) i've never done cirque. . .one day :)

YAY, you're back in the surprise business!:cool1:

Better wear some rain boots, don't want to step in any puddles!

Those are only good for driving over the borders. They won't do you any good on a cruise (except to use for ID)because if you have to be flown back into the country you can't with one of those. It's like a glorified drivers license for driving. In fact a few states have them built into the drivers license.

For cruisin, IF you want a passport go for the real deal! :thumbsup2

I'm just about caught up on my threads....Ok Ihave 4 whoppers to catch up with...but then you can keep updating...I need more to read. :lmao:

PURPOSE

The U.S. Passport Card can be used to enter the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda at land border crossings or sea ports-of-entry and is more convenient and less expensive than a passport book. The passport card cannot be used for international travel by air.

Not to argue, but my SIL got one for her kids earlier this year.

27th at Epcot works for us!! We may still have our friends here, so they may come with us as well. :) Sorry for having to spill the beans!! Sometimes it's hard keeping a secret like that!

Joe and Chris are yea, trouble!! Me and Leanne are fun as well, just not trouble!! And Joe's mom is a total HOOT!!! I can't wait to spend four days over there with them! And after the movers and a weekend with my family, I'm gonna need 4 days at Disney!! LOL

I'm documenting our cross country trek on facebook, so people can check in with us and see where we're at. :) Have a good weekend, and happy painting and packing!!!

Also, are you still having issues with transportation from Orlando to the Port for the cruise? If you are, let me know, I can run over and play taxi for you guys, since we live right here!! :)

Having said that, I know that some folks who have sat down in what are supposed to be the fantastic front and center seats (I'm talking about you Brook) said they wished they had been further back and higher up in the theater.

I wasn't in the center, but was FRONT ROW and almost had a bike in my lap! :rotfl: I was in section 105. It was good for most scenes, except for arial things--of which there is quite a bit. I think yours will be better!

When was the last time you guys saw the show? I know it changed a couple acts a while ago, have you seen the current form of it? I can't wait to hear all about the surprise!!!

I was thinking that you were in the middle. The first and second set of seats offered to me were the first two rows of section 105 and I knew I didn't want those.

We saw the show last year and then a couple of times before that. Last year's show was a bit different than the previous ones.

Oh that's so nice of you to offer to drive us to the Port. We've got it figured out now and are just going to drive over.

I am sure that you are having mixed emotions about moving but at least you're moving close to another Disney park. :thumbsup2

Oh ignore me! :rolleyes2 This is what trying to read with a non-sleeping baby gets you!

:rotfl2:

I think the "three" of us made a good decision too.

:woohoo:

The 25% discount was just too good to pass up.

This is the first time I've ever heard of the passport travel card. Good to know.

Poor John thought he was going to have to wrassle a hobo for a muffin. Couldn't let that happen now could we? Thus, the House of Blues ADR was made.

YAY, you're back in the surprise business!:cool1:

That's where the Depends undergarments will come into play. :lmao:

I'm sure I won't get any updates done this weekend. We are taking Hunter and a couple of his friends out to eat and to the movies tonight for his birthday. Sunday afternoon, all of my family is coming over and we are supposed to have a swimming party for Mother's Day and Hunter's birthday combined. But, it's supposed to be raining...60%...so we may have to turn that into a Wii Minute To Win It Party.

So far we have not told our kids...However my hubby can't keep a secret so I am thinking that they will be told before to long! I would love to keep my mouth shut and just surprise them one morning...but I LOVE to talk Disney and I don't know if I can do it!

:woohoo: for the new surprise!! We haven't seen Cirque du Soliel La Nouba yet but have read really great things about it!!:thumbsup2 I need to look into it for a future trip!!:)

Yeah for a new secret:cool1: I hope you have a great mothers day and it doesn't rain on your parade!

I'm sent you a pm:)

First off you never know what charters you may run across or what they may be doing.

Yes that is Max and he is folding towels.

And also don't forget to look for where they pick up the Air mail for the post office.
