Mickeystoontown's Gang hits the Bahamas & WDW! Who gets choked or stuck this time?

Darn it! You'll still have a great time anyway even without the surprise. :thumbsup2

What is it about men resisting new clothes? I got my DH to agree to buying more shorts by threatening to make him do the laundry on vacation :rotfl:

John will wear his clothes until they look like something a bum who sleeps under a bridge would wear. I may be exaggeraing a little but they look bad. He hates going to buy clothes. I may just have to borrow your idea....threaten to make John do laundry. ;)

Happens to the best of us. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I'd never make a Secret Service Agent. :lmao:

Oh rats! Well at least one person will still be surprised ;)

Ummm, actually, Lacey may have accidentally spilled the beans too. :rolleyes1 I'll be talking to her in the next day or two to get confirmation.

I couldn't hold in a surprise to save my life! You are in good company! ;)

It's good to hear that I'm not the only blabbermouth. :rotfl:

I love it when you post your conversations with John! I swear you should write a book! You are an amazing writer....and John is quite the subject, huh? :rotfl2:

We have some pretty funny conversations at our house don't we? John is definitely a subject worthy of writing about. :lmao: I bet you can tell that there's never a dull moment around our house.

Speaking of funny conversations, let me tell ya'll about this one. Did any of ya'll take a gander at the biggest brightest full moon of our lifetime this weekend? If you didn't, then you missed an amazing sight. Hunter has a pretty good size telescope that we'll take out every so often to look at the moon or for meteor showers and such. Because it's fairly large, we keep it in our outside storage room. John got it and brought it out into the yard so we could set it up and we discovered that one of the legs was missing. And, the conversation went a little something like this:

John: Hunter, where's your other leg?

Hunter: What are you talking about. I have both of my legs.

John: Your telescope leg you nut.

Hunter: Oh I don't know. It's not on the telescope?

John: No son. Look, there's only two legs.

Hunter goes over to the tripod, pulls on one of the legs and it falls off.

Hunter: Great, now it only has one leg.

We decided to make the most of our one legged telescope and pulled out chairs to gaze at the moon. It was pretty hard to balance the telescope on one leg and I know that we looked a sight trying to keep the one leg in between our knees and still be able to see the moon. Of course, our laughing at the situation wasn't helping our balance either. After about 45 minutes of semi-balancing and laughing, we decided to call it quits and the conversation starts back up:

Me: The mosquitos are biting me like crazy.

John: That's 'cause you're so sweet, Sweetie Britches.

Me: Sweet talker. Give me some sugar.

Hunter: Ya'll are disgusting. I'm taking my pod and going in. Get it? My pod? You know, I had a tri-pod, then it was two and now it's a pod.

John and Me at the same time: We get it!

Ok and now lol at the story. :)

Love the stories about your conversations! Keep em' coming!

:rotfl2: Stop, I can't laugh anymore, it hurts!:rotfl2:

You are quite the bunch! ::yes::

That how secrets are out'ed, normal everyday conversation. I really have to watch it when we talk about our surprise trip, mopst times we act like it's about next year, but it's been close a few times where we get a "look".

The moon was HUGE!

I love your conversations. You are a hoot!

I will keep an eye out for you guys. We arrive on the 27th and are planning on going to EPCOT that night.

Stinks the surprises are spoiled! Maybe you and John can still keep it a secret from Hunter and Jesse lol.
And can I say I am uberly jealous it is 90 degrees where you are? We have had 8 days in May and it has rained for 6.5 of them! I am so over rain and clouds!

John can drink coffee come rain, shine, sleet, snow, 100 degree weather. He's like the mailman of coffee drinkers. :lmao:

Oh, no!!! :lmao: LOL!!!

Glad I was able to provide you with a belly laugh today. Just hang in there, I'm sure we'll have another crazy conversation that will give you a few more. ;)

Love your conversations!!

We have some silly conversations around the McBride household. ::yes::

There's no denying that we are "quite the bunch". I wish I had taken notes on all of our silly conversations.

Isn't it hard to keep the secrets!?! I know that it's gotta be hard for ya'll since you can talk about the trip but have to make sure you don't slip up and say when it really is.

The moon was huge! Even though we had a wobbly telescope on a pod, we could still see all the craters and mountains on the moon. It was so cool!

I love your conversations. You are a hoot!

I will keep an eye out for you guys. We arrive on the 27th and are planning on going to EPCOT that night.

Please do an eye out for us. If you see us, shout out, knock me in the head, trip me or something. :lmao:

Oh no, one the secret was out to John, it spread like wildfire. Hunter knows all about the change 'cause he overhead John and I talking about changing resorts.

We need some rain right now so send some our way. We've had to water our garden a couple of times sine we rang in May.

I think it's sweet that he really listens to what you say! :)

John's pretty good at listening to me when it comes to most things. Some other subjects, I swear he tunes out.

First off - CONGRATULATIONS on the extra day!!! Does John often come up with such stellar ideas? Who knows....maybe next year he'll tell you to book an extra 2 days!

I hate to say it but I took a look at the "Super Moon' the other night and was underwhelmed. If I hadn't read about it being so big I never would have known by just looking at it. Looked the same size as it always does for a full moon.

Rather than buying a new tripod for Hunter's telescope can't you have John jury-rig some kind of home-made tripod?

I agree with the others- you guys really do have the best conversations!

I can't believe how close your trip is getting!

How are things working out with Hunter's school trip to NYC or shouldn't I ask? Still far down on the waiting list?
