My wife and I will be in Disney in Decmeber and during our stay MVMCP will be happening twice. We are considering going both nights. We have never been at Christmas. Does anyone think this is a good idea. Does anyone think you need two nights in order to see it all? We are looking forward to getting pics with some characters that are not out during other times that we have gone. Well if it were you what do you think you would be doing?

Thanks! :earsboy: :earsgirl:

When my husband and I went at Christmas a few years ago, we did the MVMCP on a Monday night and loved it so much that we did it again the next Wednesday night they had it. It was fun to get to ride the rides as you wanted to. It may not be that way now, but then it was way less crowded during the MVMCP. I say go for it! :flower:

I have never been. This will be our first time. Before I bought the tix I posted a thread asking if it was worth it. I got a real mixed bag of responses. Most were good, and yes, some people were even going twice. But there were some who said it wasn't even worth going once! We are going on 11/29 to see for ourselves.

I guess whether or not you go twice depends on
1. Can you afford to? Is there something else you'd rather spend the money for the 2nd nights tix on?

2. What days are you talking about? If both days are expected to be crowded (i.e. a Sat. or Sun. the week-end before X-mas) then maybe you should go twice so as not to feel rushed. But if you can go on a day that crowds are expected to be minimal than you should be able to do it all in one night.

3. Do you have the time? How long is your trip? Some people don't have the luxury of doing multiple events because they need to fit other things in. Also are you ever planning to go back to WDW around the holidays? If so then there's always next trip to see it again.

Why not buy tickets for one night, the night you think would be less crowded of the 2 choices you have. Go and see how you like it and then if once is enough your all set. If not and you want to go back again, you can try and buy tix there. I do say try because I know some nights sell out. Just my 2 cents. Either way have fun!! :earsgirl:

We go once every year. We concentrate on the shows/entertainment, parade and special holiday fireworks - those are not available to see during regular MK hours. IMHO, the Christmas parade and special fireworks are worth the price of admission all by themselves.

We only do a few rides during the party - we can easily do those during the day. In our experience (since 1998), the crowds are relatively light during early December and we have no problem getting in all the rides we can handle during normal MK hours.

Best wishes -
