Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Central 2005

When I called today for my MVMCP tixs (I got 12/18 with LTT @5:40), I also asked about Candlelight Processional dinner packages. They are not in the computer yet but it looks like they might be soon. I plan to keep checking back and will post when ressies are available.

When did they go on sale last year? Thanks

Will the buses run late the nights of the Christmas Party? This will be our first time going to the party and I was wondering if we needed to drive to the park that evening instead of taking the resort buses. Thanks for any help. :)

I called CRO, and they said I had to call Central Ticketing at 407-566-4985. I spoke with Jeff, and he switched it to the AP rate. HOWEVER, he said my old order # will not be effective now, and they will assign me a new one. He said I would have to call back in 2-3 business days to get the new number (that he would have to submit the change to AP rate paperwork)??? Does this sound right? Now I'm worried that I may have messed up my order! Please tell me I did the right thing!

Yes getting a new confirmation number is correct. I had been charged for an extra childs ticket that I didn't need and was also put down for the wrong day. When I called Ticket central for the correction I will also be given a new confirmation number and have to call back tomorrow for it.

Don't worry.

I also had to call ticket central. the CM on Sat. told me there was not a MVMCP on Tuesday 12/6, so I then scheduled it on Sunday 12/4! I later found out there was a party on 12/6! Ticket central made the change and told me to call back in a couple of days for new confirmation #! I also hope it works out! I was able to reschedule LTT also!! :wizard: PIXIE DUST THAT ALL TURNS OUT OK FOR US!!!

 No thanks necessary! This (and MNSSHP) is one of my favorite Disney subjects, in case you couldn't already tell! ;)

I agree! I especially love the link to last year's MVMCP. That helped a ton (and the map is great!). If you have any advice or tips for a first-timer, sure would appreciate it! Staying at the GF, doing LTT at 6pm.

Thanks!

You will LOVE the GF and it's convenience to the party...especially coming back at the end of the day.

Sounds like you'll be done eating right when the party starts, that's great.

I always prioritize what I want to get out of the party and determine what I'm going to do that night by whom I'm with as well (I have 2 little ones). I used to always do the second parade as its suppose to be less crowded but that really hasn't been the case lately.

This is what I did last year. After I ate, I headed toward Adventureland and got my photo over with. It wasn't crowded yet. I like to get it over with before the lines get long AND before we all look worn out and tired!

We did some rides over there and then for the first time, we did the first parade and for the first time we watched it near LTT. Normally, I do enjoy it more on Main Street for the snow and seeing the castle in the background but it was less crowded near LTT and you could actually get a seat without waiting too long. Both locations have their benefits. If it's your first time, see it from Main Street!

Try to then fit in the special shows. Fireworks at 9:15p are amazing. They'll be Wishes with a twist and possibly a flying surprise. ;)

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

I'm so excited. We got tickets for the 12/15 MVMCP. We went back in 2003 and it was so much fun. I can't wait to go back. :Pinkbounc

We went in 2002 and we wasted SO Much time! We get there, all in aww of it all you know. Walk down Main Street, see people lining up for the parade, which had no clue when it started. So, we grab a spot, wait an HOUR for it. By then we were kind of fed up really. We got cookies and hot chocolate while we waited. Then we went to dinner at Cosmic Rays...burgers and fries AGAIN! Had had lunch at Pecos Bills earlier that day. Watched the fireworks while we ate, actually had a great spot. Then we left! We were so darn clueless that the rides were open, etc. I look back at that night and I am so sad that we didn't get more out of it. But really our whole first trip was like that, even though I had researched it so much, from the boards, etc. Still don't feel we absorbed much of it, compared to our second time there. Third was even better, fourth even better than that. Not even sure why I am typing this here..sorry!

For those that have to call back for confirmation number. I just did and it was no hassle, got my new number and they verified that all the info was correct and I am set to go!

We're checking into our hotel on Sunday the 27th, and the first party is that night. We don't plan to go to a park that day, but do I understand correctly that we'd be able to get into the MK with the party ticket after 4pm?

I trying to figure out if it would be better to go on the 27th or the 29th or the 1st.

Dawn
