Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Central 2005

I would take the earlier of the two. Pick up your wristbands at 4:00. Have a nice meal and then go over to Tomorrowland to begin the party. I know that you can see/do the attractions there until official opening time at 7:00. I read somewhere that Adventureland was possibly going to be the spot open prior to the party starting. Don't know if that is true or not. If you keep the 6:00 ADR everything would begin before you were done with your meal and that would stress me way too much.

Thanks 20years&counting. If we finish our meal say just after 6pm,do they "let us out" of the restaurant to go over to Tomorrowland or Frontierland or do we have to stay there till 7pm?

They'll let you out and direct you to the appropriate area. I believe everything else is roped off so you would only be able to go to what is open. Enjoy your MVMCP.

We are going to MVMCP on the 16th. My TA was able to make an ADR for us at Liberty Tree for 6pm that night, which we accepted although we would have preferred something a bit earlier as we didn't want to "eat into our party time". She has just sent me an email saying she can get 4.15pm.I don't want to be difficult, but is this too early? I've read that between 6 and 7 you need to go to Tomorrowland, etc.and I gather we would pick up our braclets at 4pm before we went to dinner, is this right? I've never been to WDW before so I'm clueless when it comes to knowing how much time to allow for everything, etc. Do I take 4.15 or keep 6.00?

I've eaten at LTT twice now party nights and it usually takes about an hour. Either time is good. With the 6:00p, you'll be done right about when the party starts. With 4:15p, you'll be done right around 5:15 - 5:30p so soon you'll be asked to wait in one land while they clear out and get the park ready...this year's MNSSHPs they've been using Adventureland instead of Tomorrowland.

Bracelets will be handed out throughout the park so you do not need to go back to the entrance. They will also start giving wristbands to those entering the park at 4:00p.

I personally would go with the 6:00p. Good luck deciding!

Even if you finish dinner early the entire MK is open until 6:00. Use the time when others are eating to visit some attractions. Then go into "whatever" Land at 6:00. When the Party begins at 7:00 you've already done a few things and can start the search for the picture, cookies & cocoa. Then spend some time enjoying the shows, storytelling and parade.

For those that have gone in the past, how crowded is Tomorrow land during that 6-7PM hour. Is it reasonable to think we could do a couple rides, or should we just plan on watching the show?

IMHO, it's crowded BUT it might not necessarily be Tomorrowland. It could be Adventureland (like MNSSHP is this year) or it even could be Fantasyland as it's been in the past. We won't know till the first party!

Not sure about last year since we got there a bit before 7, but two years ago, my friend and I walked onto Space Mountain three times in a row before we decided to take a break on walking throughout that long queue! I do remember Buzz had a bit of a line though, but not much.

I guess it would depend upon hoe fast you eat, lol! I would take the later of the 2 and thst gives you a hour before the party, so you can eat then go onto the party without having to wait long!!

We have a 6:00 reservation at Tony's Town Square on 12/18 for MVMCP. We didn't plan to use our park passes that day. Can we get in at 6:00 with our MVMCP tickets?

Sorry if this has already been addressed in this thread!

I think you can get in as early as 4pm with tickets!

In recent years you have been able to get in as early as 4:00. And it makes a lot of sense for them to avoid having EVERYONE enter at 7:00, and to let people with ADRs in. Just keep in mind that it's a tradition, not a promise. As far as I know WDW has not actually publicized the option to enter early using your MVMCP ticket for admission. The tickets still say 7:00. Still I think it's a very good bet the tradition will continue.

Thanks guys. Good to know and we'll keep our fingers crossed the tradition continues. This is a nice way to save Park passes for another day and still get our Disney fix!

how do you think the crowds would be for the sunday Nov 27 .Do you think it will be extremely crowded.
