Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Central 2005

i am so upset... although i am to blame

we were planning to go to mvmcp on dec 16, this is going to be our first time to the xmas party. i didn't even think to buy tickets to the party ahead of time, we were just going to buy the tickets once we got to the resort. i don't know why i even thought to do that at the last minute.

and now... there are no tickets left... :sad2: :worried:

we ended up buying the tickets for thursday night though...

but, my brother who was going to meet us on Friday can't come now :worried::worried::worried:

I just read on the thread of people that did not like the MVMCP that the snow was barely noticable. I was looking forward to seeing it "snow" on Main Street!
When it started "snowing" kids all around me started jumping up and down screaming with glee, "it's snowing, it's snowing." Personally, I wasn't all that thrilled, but maybe that's because I knew I was headed back to New England and another Winter of storms and blizzards the next day :)

For those of us from the Deep South, it was wonderful! And no shoveling!

My family has come down with the stomach flu and it doesn't look like we'll be able to make it. You can't imagine how disappointed I am.

We are in Georgia and only get about one light snow per year and I grew up in South Florida so we are so excited to see the "snow." My kids are going to flip! We are surprising them with this short one night visit and I can't wait to see their faces when they realize where we are!

We plan on going to MK around noon on the 20th - using our APs. Now, do we need to exit and then re-enter to get the wristbands for MVMCP, or can we exchange the MVMCP tickets for wristbands somewhere in the park?

There will be CMs around the hub and town square passing out wristbands. No need to exit and re-enter.

Thanks Cobbler!
Also, what kind of snow is it on Main Street? :confused3 I just read on the thread of people that did not like the MVMCP that the snow was barely noticable. I was looking forward to seeing it "snow" on Main Street! Is it an actual snow machine or just bubbles or what? Thanks again!
Jennifer

There are a couple of snow making machines right as you start down Main St then a few more further down Main St.

To me being from the Greater Boston area it was somewhat disappointing. I was expecting a bit more. I wasn't expecting any accumulations or anything, but it wasn't as noticable as I had expected. My 3 1/2 year old DS thought it was great he was chasing down "snow flakes" and we did get a few pics. I believe it is some kind of soap. Not bubbles though.

I thought that the machine that was making the snow at MGM for the Spectical of Lights was much better. It seemed to fill the air more and give a more realistic version of falling snow than at MK. It was definately a more powerfull machine. On the video I took it showed up much better than the video I took on Main St.

Just received a call from my mother and she is going to meet up with us in Orlando for our Christmas trip! That is great except we have tickets to MVMCP on the 20th which is also the day she will get there - sooooo now I need 1 extra ticket. :earseek: Anyone have an extra that they will not be able to use please, please let me know. This is our first Christmas trip to WDW and my mom's first trip to WDW ever - and she is 50+. Don't tell her that I hinted at her age! ;)

I too wish the snow was a little harder but hey! I am from Florida so just to see a little snow is a great thing! It is the thought that counts!!!! :sunny:

They are also handing out wrist bands in the rose garden in future world.

please I would not like to lose the five other tickets I've purchased because I don't want to leave my niece .

TY
