Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Central 2005

I just looked online and they are saying 20-30% chance of scattered showers throughout the day. I'll bet we'll be just fine. It's FL afterall. ;)

I would't worry about any date and rain that is more than 3-5 days out. Weather changes down here on a dime. :goodvibes

I really can't wait for the first party to happen so someone can post all about it! :jumping1:

That would be me. Nov 27th. This will be my first MVMCP, tell me what you guys want to know and I'll make note of it. Leaving tomorrow.. WAHOO.... :cool1:  :cool1:

Well, we're almost gone! We're heading out to Thanksgiving around 12:00p at my niece's in house near Boston and then to an airport hotel for our EARLY flight tomorrow morning!!

Have fun everyone! Let's hope for great weather and great MVMCP parties!! Bye bye for now! :cool1:

Have fun!

Would love to know what time the parades and fireworks are.

Thanks!

I would love to know if anything is new or if the times for things have changed. Basically just your general impression.

Although I have been to Disney this time of the year before I have never attended the MVMCP before. So I will not know the changes.. I will get the general info. Parades, fireworks etc and post when I get back. Anything else?

Pictures, lots and lots of pictures!!! :teeth: Have a great trip!!!

We're going to MVMCP on 12/6. We don't have any dinner reservations...I've seen something about restraunts not being open during the party, except LTT. Are there any counter service options for dinner, or should we get something elsewhere before entering MK? We've never done Disney in December, the suspense is insane! Happy travels everyone!!!

Hey Bellarose23. Not sure what else is open, but we always make it a point to eat at Cosmic Ray's Stalight Cafe. Just love the DJ (Ray). Not sure if we eat there becasue of the entertainment or becasue it is one of the only places open. I know it is not beacuse of the quality of the food :)

Either way, enjoy,
Duane

Here's another one: Pecos Bill's (counter service) in Frontierland is typically open during the party.

You'll LOVE WDW in December. It's so festive and absolutely gorgeous.

I love the change in colors on this thread. VERY festive!!!!

Hi everyone! My family has tickets for MVMCP on the 18th. We went last year and had a great time, so we are really excited for this year. :cool1: For some reason though, I'm blanking out on the time of the parades. I know we went to the late one last year but does anyone know the times of the two parades?

Also, if you're the type to get to a parade early to get a good seat, how early do you typically stake out your spot? I'm taking my younger son, too, this year, so I want to make sure he has a good view.

Thanks! :)

Ok, I finally made up my mind and booked our tickets online for MVMCP today, for December 8. :cool1:

I also have an ADR at Kona for 5:50. We' re planning on going to MK around 3 or 4 that afternoon, doing a few rides, and then going to dinner. We'll hopefully be back around 7 for the start of the party.

So, if we get our wristbands before we leave MK, will there be a separate (shorter?) entry line for those who already have wristbands, when we return around 7?

Thanks,

Ok, I have not been on here for a while as I have been sooo busy, but We are getting ready to leave here in a few days and I remembered that we need transportation, so I am looking around for a town car today.
I wanted to stop in here and let everyone know how excited I am! We are back home from thanksgiving with a christmas list from family members-things to buy in the parks of course! It is so much fun to rub it in to my younger sisters that I am going to be in Disney world in just a few days!! I think they are about sick of hearing of it! hee hee!
I'll post a report when I return!

We leave in the morning to go to the party tomorrow night. It's the only park time we have planned this year since we're only going for 2 nights. I've noticed several posts about only LTT being open past 7 but we have PS for Tony's at 7:25. So, unless the CM I booked through made a mistake, disney might be keeping for dining places open this year. Our only other PS option when I booked was the Plaza. I'll try to post about the party when I get back Tuesday.

While waiting for the party to start, is everything opened in Tomorrowland? Is it totally packed with people waiting for the start of the party?

I think I read earlier in the thread that they are opening up Tony's and the Crystal Palace in addition to LTT this year.
