Do you think I can wait until we get to our hotel on Dec. 3rd (VWL) to buy tickets to the VMC party?

We're not 100% sure that we'll go at this point -- but don't want it to sell out...

While waiting for the party to start, is everything opened in Tomorrowland? Is it totally packed with people waiting for the start of the party?

Didn't they hold everyone in Adventureland this year for MNSSHP? If so will they do the same for MVMCP?

We are down to single digits for our visit starting on the 8th. I will have the car packed on the 5th (if not before). My plan is to pull out around midnight (the night of the 6th or the morning of the 7th whichever you like to call it) then drive until about 7PM on the 7th for a rest then pull in early on the 8th.

I already have our MVMCP tickets so I can rest a bit. We are planning on doing most of the special things while there for 15 days.

Needless to say I am getting really pumped with Christmas music. Hope to see some of you there.

I think I read earlier in the thread that they are opening up Tony's and the Crystal Palace in addition to LTT this year.

Are the counter service restaurants open during the party?? And will they let you in after 4 without an ADR??

Can someone just jot a quick reply to my simple questions? Thanks! And sorry if they have already been asked...it's hard to skim all the posts and get everything!

1. Do you get a picture with Santa or characters that is included in the ticket price or do you pay seperately like Photopass?

2.Where can we find the cookies and cocoa?

3. Does it REALLY snow on Main Street? This is important for me to know because DH will have to be prepared to catch me when I faint!

5. Do we get some sort of button or pin to commemorate the experience?

6. (duh?) Do you need admission to MK to get into the party with your party ticket also?

1. Picture is a family photo, the characters are available through out the park, we found quite a few in Ariel's Grotto.

2. Cookie/Cocoa can be found in Tomorrow Land dining area just to the right of Main Street. I think in Frontierland too, there is a special brochure just for the party!

3. Of course it snows, its Disney World! "Its soap suds, don't stand under them too long if you worry about your hairstyle!

5. Yes, you have to purchase the pin be sure and do that early after you arrive. I didn't and I missed out very disappointing. They can be purchased once you enter the park from the building to your right. Just ask any CM, they will be happy to help.

6. WDW closes at 6PM to guest, then reopens to "special guest" who have purchased a MVMCP ticket. We usually don't go to the park early in the day we just do the MVMCP on that day. They do let MVMCP ticket holders into the park around 4 PM and when the park closed they corral MVMCP ticket holders into Tommorrowland (at least they did last year).

Be sure and wear your holiday sweater, I have mine ready!

1. Yes, it's included and you fill out a paper saying where you want the photo sent. You don't get it that day or have to pay for it via photopass.

2. the cookies and cocoa "carts?" will be on the map for the party that you will get, from what I've heard there are several locations for this.

3. They are bubbles, but it's so magical that your mind "turns" it into snow!!!!!!!

5. I think you get a button of your photo...I think that's an option, SOMEONE HELP ME WITH THIS ONE!!!!!

6. I believe that you do. I have heard different people say different things.

Does anyone remember how much the MVMCP clothing is? Also, I doubt there is, but could there be a way to pre-order something? I'm going on the last date, so they might be out by then.

You get a free photo that does not include Santa or characters. There should be opportunities for you to take photos with characters as always. Don't know if Santa is available for photos.

They used to give out buttons, but did not last year. Wouldn't count on it this year.

No! Definitely not! Typically beginning about 4:00 you can get in with only the MVMCP ticket. Of course you can come earlier and use regular admission.

I cant believe we only have one more day til we leave!! We put up our Christmas trees yesterday and started the rest of the inside decorations! We wanted them done, so when we return from disney all hyped up on Christmas, we had our decorations up to keep it going here! We decorated outside about 2 weeks ago and turned them on the day after Thanksgiving!

I am finally getting to laundry and packing today!! I am usually packed weeks in advance, so this is really hard for me!! I am soo excited I cant stand it! My husband hasnt been to Disney since he was a kid, when nothing was there except for MK, I cant wait to see the look on his face when we get there! We are staying at WL, and I know it will be beautiful! I took my son there last year at Halloween, for his first trip there. My husband and I just got married in Sept. so that is why he did not go with us last year. We are going to MVMCP on Dec 1st!! Candlelight processional on November 30th on the day we arrive! Thought it would be nice to start out the trio with the true meaning of Christmas!

Well got to finish packing!!!

Cant stand the waiting!!

I think there are only a few counter service places open during the party. I know that LTT, Crystal Palace and Tony's are taking ADR's for times until 6pm I believe, I'm sure most of that is gone though. I would count on eating somewhere else other than MK that night. Eat early and then snack at the party. Maybe someone who scans the program or reports back will be more helpful!

I attended the halloween party last month and Casye,s Corner was open, Cosmic rays, Pecos Bills,Main St bakery, Ice Cream parlor on Main st. were open as was the turkey leg cart in frontier land and the launching pad in tomoorwow land and a few other places. I am guessing the same places will be open for the Christmas Party.. I am going to tomorrow's party, btw
