Hello fellow cruisers.....My son, Mother and I will be joining this voyage and this is our FIRST cruise ever. I am sooo excited. After our cruise we are heading to DisneyWorld for 4 nights. My son will be 2 shortly after our cruise so I hope to partially celebrate his b-day.

Welcome! We have a couple of people celebrating birthdays on this cruise.

Cruising is wonderful and DCL makes it really fun for the kids too. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I'm Mary. I have 6 kids and I am a SAHM in Central FL. I am taking 2 of my kids(DD10 & DS9) as a surprise for a combo birthday gift. DS b-day was in July and DD's on 9/12.

We are flying down early Sept. 6 and staying at the Raddison by the Port like several others. When are you guys heading down? You flying out of Philly? Traveling with a friend, its our first time on a cruise line September 7th.

We're coming on the cruise line after spending 14-days at Walt Disney World. We leave for our vacation on Aug. 23rd and come back home Sept. 12th.

I got the month off work, I am a part-time youth worker so having been to Disneyland twice this year (and grabbed an annual passport), my friend had never been east before and I had been only once: so we took advantage of the free dining for two weeks at Disney World and jumped onboard the Cruise Line too! Our 'dream trip' would be to do all three (Disneyland, World & Cruise) in one trip: but doing all three in 6 months ain't bad either.

Our flight is August 23rd from Seattle (Vancouver airport is waaay to expensive). We transfer in Portland, then off from Portland to Orlando. Two weeks in the World exploring Orlando and the parks then off to the cruise line. We have a late flight on the 11th (leaving at 6:30 pm) back to Seattle, then we spend the night in Seattle and get picked up to go home (and straight to work) by the 12th.

Mary- You have a beautiful family!! I'll try and post a pic of us from our last Disney cruise, but not sure if I can upload from kodakgallery to photobucket!!

Dale- I don't think my husband is into the fight stuff (and we'll be at Chef Mickey's that night for dinner), but I've been told by another of the males in our traveling party that the Bear's first game is the day the Wonder sails and that they'll be hitting the sports bar (look for one quiet guy (my hubbie) and one loud obnoxious (but loveable in his own way) guy (our friend).....I said fine as long as they take the kids! My husband though would miss the game (at least I'd like to think so)!

The Bears were in the Superbowl the last time we cruised/went to Disney and he was okay with watching the game in our Pop Century room and not being at some over the top Superbowl party in Chicago!!!

Can't believe we are sailing in 3.5 weeks!!!!! I have too much to do, but I have started throwing stuff in a suitcase! I put in Josh's pirate costume from last Halloween (still fits, though the shirt is kinda short/small) and a pirate mickey ear hat! I hit the dollar store last week and bought tons of stuff for all the kids for our meals.....stamp kits, disney coloring sets, stickers, and foam beads for necklaces.....hoping to keep them occupied during the somewhat long meals! And, then all the documents are in there too! Too much to do and too little time....but, so worth it!!!!!

Welcome new threadmates!! I'm glad you found us. My name is Monica. I'll be traveling with my husband and our three children as far as Spring Hill, Florida. Once we reach Spring Hill, though, my husband and I will be dumping, I mean delivering, the children to their grandmother and off we will go for our Parents-only cruise.

I really should go to bed. The bedtime police will be knocking on my virtual door in the morning. It's just that I get my kicks staying up late enough each night to witness my trip count down go down a number.

So, Are you up late tonight doing your Disboard homework?

Okay..........sorry if this comes out really big......My husband and I are in yellow and red, my son Josh is in blue.....We are with our friends, John and Nicole and their daughter Kayla and they are again sailing with us.....we will both be bringing our #2 kids with us this time also, they stayed home with the grandmas last time!

This is very cool! On of my dearest friends needs a travel companion (expenses paid) for her trip to Pasadena, California next week, and she picked me! It's only four days -Monday to Thursday- but I'm psyched! I've never been to California. I have to find out what is the "must do" thing for someone visiting Pasadena for a couple days.
