Ok, to try to answer a few of your questions (to my questions, lol):

As for free dining. Disney is running their promo again for free dining. It is during September (pretty much both sides of our cruise dates). If you are staying at least three nights and book at least one day park admission (for your group) you can get the dining plan for free!!!! WOOHOO this is a great deal. The dining plan entitles you to one Table service (sit down meal); one Counter service (walk up counter type) and one snack per day; per person in your party. There is very limited availability left, but if you are going to be staying for that amount of land portion I would look into it. I love my travel agent and if you don't have one, can give you her info and see if she can find any availability for you.

I would love to have a dis-meet and have read others where this seems to be a good time (before the drill), kind of before we really start our cruise. I would love to get to meet all of you.

How about if you are up for a Dis-meet, post here or on the Yahoo board and I'll see if Hayley can update our the first post of this tread (and I'll update the yahoo group).

We won't have to exchange gifts unless you want to (something that can be discussed as it gets closer).

Fish extenders, I have only read about on the disboards and am actually going to make one this summer. There is an entire thread on these, but basically it is something you hang outside your cabin. Your 'friends' can leave little notes or goodies and such. I know we have one special birthday boy on the cruise and would be nice if we can shower him (and maybe his little brother) with cards. The fish extender hangs outside your stateroom on the 'fish' that is outside your door. From what i've read, Disney will put notes to you on the fish.

As for Nassau, we will probably do a walking tour and check out some shops (hubby NEEDS to hit the Harley shop) and if there is a Hard Rock, I'll have to get my dad a shirt there. Then we will be back on the boat to get ready for our vow renewal.

We will be doing our vow renewal on deck 7 at either 4:30 or 5:30 (don't know the time yet).

You can count us in for a DIS meet! I talked to my mom today and she was busy catching up on her Disney reading. She is just as excited as I am. Christohper can't stop talking about making flubber on the cruise ship. The boy is so excited for a cruise he doesn't even know he is going on. Time seems to be speeding up the closer we get! I count our blessings and thank God that we have found all of you!

Hayley....17 days in WDW!! I am SO jealous! Yes, I know I live here, but I'd still love to have that many days in WDW. Just don't get stuck in its a small world.

All this talk of WDW has me thinking about the fact that Warren and I must be horrible parents, because even though my mother lives a little over an hour from WDW, we have never taken the kids there! Oh, the shame.

I'm about to go to work, but I wanted to see what's new here. One of our hens had 3 chicks hatch today, and hopefully more will hatch tomorrow. She's keeping them all hidden for now but we did see two of the fluffy little babies poking their heads out this morning. If I can catch them tomorrow, I'll post a picture.

Gotta go make some DCL dough!

You bad mom! ONLY KIDDING!!!!!! You are an awesome mom. Hey, we only got to Disney growing up when our parents divorced, (dad tried to buy our love, so he took us to disney).

But Monica, haven't your kids been on a Disney cruise?

Don't work too hard my friend. I think I am going to take tomorrow off (from the gym). I am beat and my two workout buddies here aren't available tomorrow. Hoping to sleep in, but knwoing my doggies, I'll be up and end up going anyway.

Can't believe it's only four months away!!!! It feels like it's been forever since we started planning this (and we only started in January/early Feb).

Thanks, Patty. I am absolved of my gut-wrenching guilt now. Yes, my kids have been on two Disney cruises, and there's one slated for October of 2009. They don't know about it. It's an anniversary cruise for my inlaws - 50 years of marriage. It was my idea but my mother in law wants it to be their treat!


Well, I just got home from work. It's almost 2am. I'm ready to crash but how can I miss the opportunity to acknowledge that we are officially 4 months from cruise day!

I made ADR for California Grill (in the Contemporary) for a special dinner after our cruise. I've read that you can see Wishes from there. Hoping it will be worth the two TS from our dining plan. Haven't picked our last TS yet.

I don't know what the status is now, but when I worked for Disney in 1999 they were the #1 resturant in the country and had the #1 top rated female sushi chef (#3 in the world). I think you'll have a fine dinner.

If any of you follow Syesha on American Idol, she is in her home town of Sarasota, FL today (will be aired next week). This is the town I work in/ group up in and my mom lives in. You can see the area were I habitat! hehe I hope they show our beautiful beaches!

Just booked the Radison for the night before the cruise. I had been going back and forth and looking for a 'good deal' when I thought, it's only $100 booking directly with Radison (checked all those other 'discount' sites and with their 'fee' it was more than the radison).

So one more thing done!!!!! YEA!!! Come on September!!!

We are going to be at the Radisson as well. We liked the photos on the various sites and it is just so convenient for in between our two cruises. Maybe we can meet up to say "hi" before we get on the ship.
