I appreciate that. I really do. Thank you.
While I'm trying not to pass out going up the stairs, I"ll be envying you in the swimming pool.

That's Funny, Tink.
I told Patricia we could run up and down our steps for fifteen minutes on Friday, but I didn't do it. Although, I did a heck of a lot of walking on Friday and that included trying to run up the steps to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. If you've never been to Philadelphia, there's no sense in me telling you where we walked but everyone probably knows the famous scene in Rocky with the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Even now, thirty two years later, you see people doing the Rocky pose at the top of the steps. We were there part of the time. I didn't make it all the way up the steps running.
Happy Easter, Everyone! Gotta go get ready for the Easter Chicken!
Patricia, we went for a short hike before dinner. Two miles each way. There were a lot of people on the trails today. I think they were walking off their "food babies".![]()
My Passporter has finally been shipped from Amazon. I can't wait to get it and start going through it. I am so excited and still have 165 days to go!!!
It has a lot of great info! I got mine Friday evening and had it read by Saturday. I have a hard time concentrating for that long normally. By Sunday, I had it checked marked and highlighted and passed on to my mom to read. Now I keep pestering her if she has read it yet.My mom is contantly laughing at my excitement. Christopher asked me what I was doing when I was highlighting everything. I told him I was highlighting the points of interest for the cruise I planned to take when he was 12.
: I'm so glad I thought up that excuse awhile back; otherwise I would have blown it 10times over by now!
165 more days? I'm counting down by major holidays. 3 sounds SO much more inviting that 165.![]()
IPassporter . Before our first cruise, I just about slept with it under my pillow. Seriously. I'd read it every night before I went to bed, and several times I fell asleep before closing the book and putting it on the night stand. So, sometimes it was under the pillow or on the pillow, or next to the pillow... I brought it with me on the ship, too. I had it in my hand while we were waiting in the line at the port before boarding (this was before numbered groups) and other people in line would ask me to look things up like what do these letters mean on my card?
I wonder if the new Passporter has different pictures from the last one. Does anyone know? I figure it has updated information.
I'm waiting for this book cd to finish ripping so I can listen to it in the car (no cd player). Thought I'd check in and see if we made it off page 17. It's hard to type because my hands are SO cold. It's warmer outside than it is my house. I can't believe I let the heating oil run out. Thank Goodness it's spring!
I read a post about rolling seas. Is anyone afraid of being seasick?I lived on a boat for 2 years when I was very young and have been boating many many MANY times and I have only gotten sea sick once (hitting waves in Alaska). I really dont think I have anything to worry about but I worry ALOt about my mom and her boyfriend. I still can't understand how my mom gets sea sick after living on a boat but she does. The funny thing about her is that sea sickness medication actually makes her even more sick. I'm not sure what we will do if she gets sea sick.
:. Her boyfriend takes dramamine and seems to be ok. I don't think the boys will get sea sick....at least I hope not.
