Everybody Scream!
We couldn't believe how hot we were after the parade, so we decided to make a quick stop in a store with nice air conditioning.

Then, I knew we just had to ride Rockin' Roller Coaster and the Tower of Terror!

We saw that the wait at Rockin' Roller Coaster was 70 minutes! The ride had been shut down for a month or so for refurbishment, so I guess everyone was ready to get back on it. We decided we'd get fast passes at Tower of Terror first, so we could ride it as soon as we got off.
We got our fast passes and then we decided to go in the single rider line at RRR. DH & I do this all the time and very rarely have we ever been separated. Usually, we get to sit with each other and if we don't, we are at least on the same coaster. It was such a hot day, so we had no interest in standing out in the heat. The line was still a pretty good wait, so it gave Cheryl & I time to chat.
Then, it was our time to be lead into Aerosmith's Recording Studio and sure enough the cut off was right where we were, so Cheryl was the last to go with the group ahead of us and then I was stuck in line still. Typical!

I had never had that happen before and, of course, I had been telling Cheryl that wouldn't happen and we'd be riding together. Oh, well!
After I left the Recording Studio, I walked in to get in line for the limo and I head Cheryl call out my name. Luckily, she hadn't taken off yet and she was on the limo before me. I had just missed her!
I was so thrilled with the newly refurbished Rockin' Roller Coaster because they brought the original music and soundtrack back to the ride!

It was toned down for awhile there and the only Aerosmith song they played was "Sweet Emotion" and now it's back to really being a "Rockin'" Roller Coaster with all the Aerosmith hits!
I exited the ride and I didn't see Cheryl anywhere. I looked near the photo area, all around the store, and I didn't see her anywhere.

I decided I'd check outside. I highly doubted that she had gone out there, but I didn't see her anywhere else. Well, I looked outside and no luck there either. I walked back inside, through the store, and there she was by the photos.

It was like she has just appeared! Don't ask me how I missed her or how she missed me when I was exiting.
We were together at last and it was time for our fast passes at Tower of Terror! Cheryl then told me that she had only been on it once before!

Oh, this was going to be fun!

Cheryl was freaking out just a little about going on Tower of Terror, so I knew this was going to be a fun time for us!
We made it through the Hollywood Tower Hotel quickly and chose the quickest line for the elevator to our room.

We were in line for the front waiting on our elevator door to open and then the CM operating our elevator got a phone call. The next thing we know we are being told to go down to the next elevator and keep our same row locations. I guess our elevator really was out of order!

It was a little confusion for everyone, but we got it all figured out.
Then, it was our turn and the doors opened! We were right in the front and I could tell Cheryl was feeling the fear. She would not let her bag go, but we were having a blast. Cheryl didn't know when the drop was coming and then....DROP!!!

Cheryl grabbed on tight and I threw my hands up in the air. We were screaming our heads off! It was so much fun!
Cheryl had survived and we had safely made it down to the ground. We couldn't wait to go check out our photo.
This is our "red neck" photo, as Cheryl calls it...
We are in the front left and we are both in gray. You can see my arms up and Cheryl hanging on for her life!
