My favorite part of the "Boo to You" parade is the Haunted Mansion! The best part of the entire parade is with the gravediggers when they scrape and drag their shovels across the ground. It's so neat! I am also a big fan of the Hitchhiking Ghosts and their robot dance moves.

They also added a pumpkin man this year to the parade. He was like the creepy little Spectromagic guys, but with a pumpkin head.

The Villains are always my favorite part of Halloween at Disney because it's very rare to see them all together!

Goofy ends the parade with an array of candies and goodies!

It was getting late by the end of the second parade, so Carol & Jen decided they would head back to Pop-Century to get some rest. It had been a long day, but it was sad because I knew we'd be parting ways and saying good-bye. We walked with them through Adventureland and then I gave them each a hug good-bye. I knew we'd be talking soon, once we got back home and on The DIS again!

Cheryl, Megan, & I were going to make it through to the very end. After we said goodnight to Carol & Jen, we had to go ride Pirates of the Caribbean! I think we talked through the entire ride. It was so much fun enjoying all of the classic Disney rides with devoted DIS'ers, like me!

After we got off the ride, we saw Tarzan & Terk hanging out when we were leaving Adventureland. I have never seen Tarzan out and about, so I had to meet him. He looked pretty hot too!

He was really funny and kept asking Megan about her interesting hair. We got so many great responses from everyone with our crazy hair!

I really wanted to ride Space Mountain before the end of the night! I knew we would have such a blast on that ride together! Plus, it still is my favorite ride at the MK!

Then, I remembered I had to get my picture taken by these statues that we saw in front of the Castle. I have never seen them before and I guess they were an addition for the Halloween season. I thought they were pretty neat.

Space Mountain was our last big hurrah of the evening and it was the perfect way to end such a Magical day! We had so much fun screaming our heads off on the ride!

The rain had stopped and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party was over. It was such a wonderful day and I had so much fun meeting all of my fellow DIS'ers! It was the best Halloween Party ever!

We sadly made our way down Main Street and we saw the CM's waving good-bye to us with their Mickey gloves. It was a nice ending and after all of our months of planning it was hard to believe it was all over.

We made our way over to the lockers, so we could pick-up all of our stuff. Cheryl & I had so much stuff stuck in those small lockers! It was great because the lockers were free and we got our $2.00 deposit back when we turned our key in.

Cheryl & Megan had to catch the bus back to Pop-Cantury and I had to go the oppostie way to get on the monorail to get to my car. Then, I brought up the idea about getting together tomorrow. We quickly agreed on meeting at Disney-MGM Studios at 3:00 pm. I think we needed and deserved some time to sleep-in. We decided we'd meet outside of Tower of Terror promptly at 3:00 pm. Megan didn't know if she would be able to make it to our meet tomorrow or not, so I said my good-byes to Megan, just in case I didn't see her. I told Cheryl I'd see her tomorrow and we went our opposite directions.


The DIS Dinner & DIS Party were such a blast! I am so glad Cheryl & I were able to plan such a fantastic meet! I couldn't have imagined a better group of people or having more fun!

I was happy because I still had a mini DIS Meet to look forward to the next day!

Happy Halloween!! I just wanted to check in and say Hello! I have been really busy with, ...well life, you know.

We had a wicked good time at the DIS meet and MNSSHP. I have been playing the music all week. After the parade I had the Boo To You song stuck in my head so I picked up the CD on my way out.

I also can't believe it's been about a month. It seems so much longer! But I have my scrapbook half way done. I'm trying to plan some sort of trip for April 19-27. Maybe WDW again.

Exactly! That's why I love all the parties and I usually spend all of my time in line meeting characters, but it is so worth it!

I've got to go buy that CD too! I was actually just thinking about that today and I think I'm going to go pick it up this weekend at Downtown Disney. I'll be singing and dancing all weekend!

I bet the scrapbook looks great! I have printed all of my pictures, but I still have to go buy a couple photo albums. Hmmmmm...I need to do that this weekend too! I did print the photo of us all with Minnie at LTT and I put it in the MNSSHP frame I got.

Did you see that we are planning our next DIS Meets for May 21 & 22!? We are going to have another DIS Dinner at 'Ohana and a Flower & Garden Festival DIS Meet!

Oh, it was so great!
They did it just like the movie and it was a 45 minute show.
They showed clips from the movie in the background, as the show went on.
Everyone was up dancing and screaming! I loved it!

I hope you had a nice Halloween too!!!

The Goodies!





I got home from our DIS Party and I was pretty exhausted. My kitty, Jax, was thrilled to see me and he was very upset he couldn't attend the DIS Meet, so I gave him my balloon. He loves the DIS too!

Then, Jax found my lime green boa and he just loved that! He wishes he could have hung out with the DISney Princesses at the BBB Meet!

Of course, he also found my Disney goodies I brought home! He just has to get into everything!

Before I crawled into bed, I decided I'd go through my candy and goody stash and see all the yummy stuff I got! I think I did pretty well for the night!

And...yes, I ate all of it!

I noticed that Jax's claws appear to be blue. Is he wearing those Soft Claw things? I have seen them advertised and thought about getting them for my kitten because he simply does NOT know how to retract his claws.

Yes, those are the Soft Paws and they work great. They have kitten sizes too and they come in a variety of colors, including holiday ones. You have to put them on by retracting their claws by pressing on the top of their paws. Their claws will come out.

The Next Day

Mini-DIS Meet






I woke up the next morning and was so glad I would be on my way to Disney-MGM Studios for a mini-DIS Meet! I didn't want to be late, so I decided I'd get there a little early. I was too tired the night before to even deal with taking my hair down. I knew that was going to be quite a chore, so I just slept on it. I put a towel on my pillow, so I didn't get pixie dust all over the place. It was so funny because Jax couldn't sleep the entire night because he kept wanting to attack my hair! He kept wanting to bite it and I don't think he got a wink of sleep because he was just too intrigued by the sight of my hair.

My hair actually still looked great! It hadn't fallen out of place at all, so I decided I'd sport the Pop-Princess do for one more day. It was worth showing off again.

I made my way over to Disney-MGM Studios around 2:00 pm and I decided I'd make my way over to the Tower of Terror, just in case anyone arrived early. Cheryl & I were meeting outside the Tower of Terror at 3:00 pm and we were hoping to Megan would be able to make it.

I stood out there for a quite awhile because I didn't have much else to do and I couldn't believe how hot it had gotten. The sun was beating right down on me, so I hung out under the small shelter area for a little while and shopped around in the stores nearby.

It was almost 3:00 pm and I saw Cheryl walking down towards the Tower of Terror! Megan said if she wasn't there by 3:00 pm that she wouldn't be coming, so it was just going to be Cheryl & I today.

I realized the Motor Cars Parade began at 3:00 pm and we decided to go watch it. Niether one of us had ever seen the parade before and I wanted to see it before they got rid of it for the new Block Party Show.

It got crowded pretty quickly and Cheryl & I were walking around trying to find a decent spot. We couldn't see much from where we were near the Sorcerer Hat, so we decided we'd beat the parade by foot and try to find a good spot near the entrance of the park.

We lucked out and found a higher spot on the sidewalk. We had a great location to see everything and take great pictures, even if the sun was beating down on us.

The characters from "Ratatouille" started off the parade and it was the first time I had ever seen them!
