HELP....SOS.....
First time to WdW during the Halloween party and now I find out you pay extra for tickets. We are going Oct 21st to Magic Kingdom and are staying for the day and staying at Pop. I have a few questions and hope you can help.

1. If we do not purchase an ticket to the Halloween party does this mean we have to leave the park @7P.m. for these festivities?:confused3

2. Will we not be able to see the fireworks that night?

3. WE went to wdw in May of 05 and if I remember right we can carry in food and drink? Is this still possible

any help would be appreciated...:wizard:

In order to be in MK during the party you will have to purchase a ticket or leave at 7. If you want to see the fireworks without getting a ticket you could go over to the Poly and watch them from the beach.

If you have never seen the Halloween party it is well worth the extra money. The Parade that kicks off the celebration is wonderful, and the transformation the park makes was great. Watch for the Headless Horseman, ghosts and goblins and again not so scary but fun! Great for all ages!:scared1:

What we did on the day of the MNNSHP last year was make that day our "resort day". Then, we had a 5pm ressie at Chef Mickey and went to MK after. You can get in some say at 4pm for the party, so if you're going maybe save that days ticket for another day!:thumbsup2

We sleeping in and going shopping on our MNSSHP day and then going to the park at 4:00 (you can get in by 4 if you have a MNSSHP ticket)...then staying till midnight if we can hang on that long. We don't have to "use" one of our "days" for the park tickets and we still get to stay at the park a LONG time! Definitely worth the money!!!!

Yes, they clear everyone out at 7 and give special wristbands to party attendees.
You can still bring food and drinks in to the park.

You do have to pay extra (about $45 per person, if I remember correctly) to attend the party in the evening. If you don't have a ticket to the event, they will kick you out when it starts.

If you're trying to save money, you'll have plenty of fun going to Magic Kingdom without attending the party - but go on one of the "non-party" days so you can stay all evening.

I think the party is pretty fun (fun parade!) - I've been three times, but I probably wouldn't spend the money to go again. But it is expensive, especially if you have a big family. You can see the fireworks from the Poly.

And yes, you can bring your own food and drink to the parks - just no glass bottles.
