We're going on Sept 30th as that's the other half's birthday treat - I enjoy both the parties but the Halloween one is definitely the best of the two in my eyes so really looking forward to doing this again.
No costumes, but might buy a t-shirt or something.
I agree! About 6 years ago when we went there was a whole family of 5 dressed as dalmations, the full monty with all over body-suits and painted faces - they really stood out and got TONS of attention.
When sitting waiting for the parade they were virtually opposite and one of the entertainment CM's who work the crowd to keep the kids occupied beforehand came along to our section, stopped abruptly, pointed, sang "hey, who let the dogs out?" and just like that, 200+ people all collectively all went "Woof woof, woof-woof" then we all laughed like nutters because so many people had done it - was such a great impulsive moment, funny how sometimes the small memories stick with you
