Thanks fristbytte! It sounds cute! What time does the BBQ start? Do you know is there just one a night? Thanks.

Heidi, we are excited too about July. We are going with a bunch of friends who all love Disney but have never been together. It should be lots of fun!! :)

We went in early Dec and it started at 6:30 pm and ended at 9:30 pm. Very fun time!

Just made our reservations. It is held on Thursday and Saturday in 2006. The show is from 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm, but they want you there by 6 pm with your tickets. Your get your tickets at Pioneer Hall.

My cousins went with their kids back in October. THey said that the kids had fun dancing with the characters adn stuff but the food was just plain awful. They said that the burgers were completly inedible and nothing was good at all. they didnt eat anything. They said it was cute for the kids but they would never waste their time and moeny on it ever again.

You can also pick up tickets at Guest Service Desk 7 days in advance of your reservation.

We have gone several times and love it! The food is simple bbq but the chicken has always been good. I always like the mac and cheese! Music is great and the kids have a ball. It is great to see the characters dancing and interacting so closely with the kids. Cute rope trick show. We have always gone with big groups and it makes it even more fun! Enjoy.

Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, Chip and Dale, live country music, carnival games, line dancing. Chicken, hot dogs, ribs, salads, corn, cole slaw, beans ,veggies, rolls, watermelon and cake....all you can drink soft drinks and beer. The characters interact with the guests, including dancing with them! We had a great time!

Isn't this outside? What happens if it rains do they move it or do they refund your money? I wanted to schedule it but this is a big concern for me.

Its a covered pavilion. It's kind of like a shelter house at a park. Open sides, covered top and fans all around for the hot months.

It seems kind of expensive, call me cheap, i think the kids might like it though. Where is it held?

I asked when I made our ADR and the CM said it is under a pavilion and is rarely canceled. :sunny:

It's Disney prices....not nearly as bad as some of the Character meals...and lots of fun.....it's held at the old River Country sight!
