Mickey Waffles at Kona or near Polynesian?

My kids want Mickey waffles on our upcoming trip, and while I know they're available at the 'Ohana breakfast with Stitch, we won't be doing that character meal. According to allearsnet, they're available at both Captain Cook's and through Polynesian room service, but CC will be closed during our trip, and DH doesn't like to do room service.

So, can anyone give me first hand experience with getting those waffles at or near the Polynesian? They're not on Kona's menu, but would we be able to order them there anyway? Thanks so much!

We had them at the Grand Floridian in the cafe a couple of years ago and they were delicious!!! They must do something different because I requested the recipe and made them but they didn't taste as good as the ones I had there.
