Mickey Letter???

A friend is currently at WDW now and was saying that he had two personalized letters sent to his children (mickey for the boy and cinderella for the girl). It was addressed to them and said they couldn't wait for them to visit, etc. Has anyone done this? If so, where do I get them?

Check out the DISign board...there are tons of different things like this for the kids. That is where I got the one for our trip to WDW and our cruise. You can also have dinner invitations and things like that done if you are planning to make ADR's.

I did this with postcards that I bought from WDW when my kids were very young. I wrote the postcard in disguised handwriting from Mickey, and the kids loved them!

Go to the FairyGodmailer thread on the family board. That's where the people are who volunteer to do this. I've done this every trip. Basically, I get a list of kiddos who are going to Disney after my trip and mail them post cards (some do post cards/some send letters) while I'm at WDW (so they are post marked Lake Buena Vista). Parents provide appropriate details about the trip (kids names, ages, favorite character, and anything you may be celebrating). Then I write the letter as if I'm the character. It's very fun and if someone does it for your child, you could pay it forward while you are there.

I also did the FGM.
Had a postcard sent to DGSfrom Mickey before our trip , then while we were there I sent a half dozen cards to kids whose info I got from the FGM board.
It truly is a great idea.

I would also suggest the Disney Enchanted call as something that ramps up the excitement for kids.
It was the best $2.49 I ever spent!

I've been looking at the enchanted call options, do they have any that invite your kids to come visit Disney or that type of message?
