Last week I purchased BAD and BLOOD ON THE DANCE FLOOR I listen to those two CDs more than I do my XM radio! I gave away ALL my MJ CDs a few years ago, but kinda glad I did. Some were scratched and had skips. So now I can start fresh. The BAD CD has some really neat bonus tracks so I'm glad I picked it up. I also have the DVD MICHAEL JACKSON NUMBER ONES LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a street in our city that has lots of trick or treaters... and they had A MOB at the thriller house. They kept running it on a loop on a huge screen, and the dancers came out for the zombie part each time. EVeryone loved it... and I was happy to finally see that my kids are not the only kids who respect the talent of MJ!

Michael Jackson Was A Poet Too!

Michael Jackson recites his original poem "Planet Earth" on the This Is It album - and reviews are ranging from "unsophisticated but poignant" to "vapid" to "consider yourself warned."

Quite a mixed bag!

Here's the poem in its entirety:

Okay from what I remember maybe the director is telling him about a cue or something and he says something like "Let me come in on my own time" or something like that. And then he talks about how he will undo his jacket, it's quite cute but I never even thought of it like in a double meaning kind of way.

Right over my head I guess.

I was driving the kids to gymnastics and thought of one part of the movie that I LOVED.....

I finally went to see it!
I don't know if it's early enough to have spoilers but *SPOILER ALERT*


It was amazing! Heal the World gave me such chills. (Though I didn't understand why MJ said we only have 4 years to fix things?)
I was slightly disappointed that there was no Moonwalk during Billie Jean!
But the whole movie was incredible, truly marvelous.
MJ looked happy and healthier than ever, and from what I could tell no doubles!
The female guitarist was amazing, she blew me away.
I loved how MJ kept telling everyone the way HE wanted things to be. Slower, let it "sizzle", and that he had to feel when it was right.


The end gave me hope. Saying that he needs to take a break, button my shirt, and then with a snap I'll be back.

I think it was a sign He's still alive and kickin'!

Ha! I was just telling my son today something like that. He was yelling at his brother for doing something "wrong" and I pointed out to him the way MJ behaved with his crew. He never said, "You're doing it wrong, jerk! You're such an idiot!" LOL. I reminded my son how MJ stated his point gently and kindly, and always reassuring that it was with love.

My son apologized to his brother. Thank you, MJ.
