I can't stop thinking about the movie. MJ was so amazing and so beautiful.

I loved the Billie Jean performance and the "booty" segment. :lmao: What was everyone else's favorite part?

I'll have to watch it again before I can pick a fave part. I was so totally mesmerized and in awe that I couldnt begin to even pick a part. I was really trying to soak him up so I could have him forever in my minds eye.
I can say those orange pants were a fave of mine!!!!

You are right about trying to take it all in, I was doing the same thing. I want to see it again because so much was going on that I am sure there are things I missed. I have always loved his performances of Billie Jean so that is probably why I loved that so much. The "booty" thing cracked me up that he thought it was funny because that is a word I use sometimes. The whole movie was so good so there wasn't anything that I didn't like.

I loved him in the Ed Hardy pants which is weird to me because I don't normally like Ed Hardy stuff. I loved those pants with that black jacket and the red liner on the inside. I loved the red shirt, gray dress jacket and black pants too.

Here is the Thriller house. My camera sucks though.

It is a street in our city that has lots of trick or treaters... and they had A MOB at the thriller house. They kept running it on a loop on a huge screen, and the dancers came out for the zombie part each time. EVeryone loved it... and I was happy to finally see that my kids are not the only kids who respect the talent of MJ!

OMG...that is freakin' awesome!

(Hello by the way :wave2:...I'm new to the thread, lurked, but never posted)

My DH is obsessed with Thriller, because when he was like 2, his 12 year old sister watched it with him all the time and taught him the dance. I'll have to show this to him...he's gonna want to do it at our house next year!

Saw "This is It" on Thursday...what an amazing movie! I didn't know at the time to stay through the credits either, but I have a feeling we'll end up seeing it again.

Vixen, great job on the costumes they look great!

VIXEN, great pics!!! Wow!!

I have to add my :thumbsup2 to THIS IS IT! Wow, I don't think I've ever been so impressed with him as I am now, and that says A LOT!!

I swear, there was nothing FIFTY about that man! He moved just as good as those 20 year olds! Wow!!

What an aMAzing talent, what an AMAZING man.... such a LOSS....:sad1:

I know he's entertaining my son and my parents now...:littleangel:

Great thread. Saw MJ during one of our trips to Epcot a few years back. He came in to ride Test Track with his two sons (Paris wasn't there) and leave. We were fortunate enough to get a couple of pictures as he walked past (sorry, haven't set up an online photo account yet to display). Even then, there were hoards of people following him around and with his untimely death, Disney should not even hesitate to bring back Captain Eo.

Finally saw the movie yesterday!

I agree with everyone that he was just amazing. I saw it with a great crowd too, lots of laughing and clapping. At the end there was applause and then everyone just sat in silence while This is It played.

I stayed for after the credits but I did not see the part that's been mentioned. All I saw was an extra little scene of him rehearsing, then a scene of the little girl from Earth Song, then a Michael Jackson logo and then it said "I love you" and then his signature "Michael Jackson". By that point I was the only one left in the theatre and the usher guy said that was really the end and the lights even came on so I left. Now I wish I had stayed even longer!?

My favourite part was when he was riding the "cherry picker". Also any other time he spoke, lol.

It was amazing how much those dancers loved him.

I think this film shows that MJ was a genius who was all about two things: Music and Love.

I will be going to see it again (and probably again, lol)

I think you did see the part!!!!! So, in that little scene when he was rehearsing, what did he say?? THAT is what all the hub bub is about I THINK.

"so I promise you tongiht, that you will always be the lady in my life.... lay back in my tenderness, lets make this a night we wont forget..."

Yeah, I failed at not listening to MJ after that certain date! :lmao:

"stay with me... I want you to stay with me..... I need you by my side..."

OMG...that is freakin' awesome!

I hope your hubby does it next year!! I think we'll think of something like it too!!

OMG how lucky is that!!! I always say I would have invited him over for a BBQ if I ever saw him. Never saw him. :sad2:

Oh :lmao:

Okay from what I remember maybe the director is telling him about a cue or something and he says something like "Let me come in on my own time" or something like that. And then he talks about how he will undo his jacket, it's quite cute but I never even thought of it like in a double meaning kind of way.

Right over my head I guess.

You are so right. There is nothing about him that was Fifty. He was amazing. He was such a beautiful person inside and out.
