2027 Member Cruise

Thank you both, that’s us out then, I don’t want to pay for this 14 months in advance. What a shame
Can you get the Disney Chase Visa? It'll give you 6 months no interest. If you buy trip insurance (I recommend Allianz), you don't have to worry about losing your money if you have to cancel. Just make sure you check the policy for what's covered. Many will offer cancel for any reason for a higher cost.

I’m UK based, so not an option plus I don’t want to put it on a credit card, prefer to pay for things like this with cash. Thank you for the suggestion though x

What is the cancellation policy for these cruises?

Is it the standard DCL one, or is it once you pay in full you are obligated? That might soften the PIF all up front thing...

Seems like a great way for us to check 2 boxes.... The Wonder and a DVC member cruise....

Thank you for letting me know. I'd love to take this cruise, but don't want my placeholder to expire! Not sure I can do two cruises in the time I have available. Such a first world problem!

Questions for those who have booked a DVC Member cruise in the past: how hard was it to book when the phone lines opened. Would it be worth it to have my husband call from his cell while I called from mine (co-owners same membership)?

It's just the two of us so we'd even be fine with an inside standard if available. I'm assuming the less expensive cabins go quickly for these cruises.
Having two phones working is a great idea!
Yes, less expensive cabins go quickly!

Cancellation is possible with full refund, but I don’t know exactly how far out.

Once the price comes out, I will make the decision. We have already done a DCL PC cruise. I may be willing to cancel 2027.

If they do a Pixar studio tour i will lose my mind. This is very convenient for us not having to pay for flights. How far in advance do they usually release the pricing and what is the cancellation policy usually? For this cruise i would want the cheapest room, no need for a verandah like alaska

Wife and I are debating this as well. Only planning issue is paying whole thing up front. A few questions for those with experience:

1) About how much? I’m assuming $6K for 2 people.
2) can I use my placeholder cruise for the 10% discount? I assume no, but wanted to ask.
3) How long will this stay open, do we guess? I’m happy inside or with a Veranda. Don’t need the best room…only ever in it to sleep anyways.

Thanks in advance. We were planning on a Cali trip, and this would be a great way to do it!

I feel like the entertainment is not announced when booking - so who knows...

I was looking at last year's to kind of estimate cost - not sure how comparable it is, but both are 7 night...

sounds like no...

I'd imagine this one will book quickly - especially for Veranda rooms which are relatively limited on the Magic Class ships...

For a 7 night cruise, I think closer to $7000 for two.
Cannot use a placeholder.
We did the ABD and didn’t go into the studio, but were outside!
