Michael Jackson This Is It Move, Are you going?

To quote an article in the San Diego Union:

whats the difference between Michael jackson and a dead cow?

you can't milk a dead cow!

he is taking a dirt nap and his family is fighting over money generated by his death.

real class

(and no, won't even watch the dvd, if they produce one.)

Have fun and don't forget your tissues.:thumbsup2

Actually I would NEVER go to a "fan" movie like this but my son is dying to go so I got tickets for the Fork and Screen on Sunday morning in the hippest part of town where NO ONE wakes up that time of morning. At least I'll get a meal and not have to sit next to someone having a fit! :lmao:

except that he "stole" all his moves from other dancers before him. there are several youtube examples of performers doing "his" moves before he was born.

Not sure I'd agree he "stole" them as I've heard him give full credit to his inspirations for the dance moves.

We're going to the movie on Sunday!

Yes. The kids are out of school for fall break and we plan to go Thursday afternoon. DS10 has been a big MJ fn for years and DD and I certainly appreciate his talent and music. We hardly ever go to movies (maybe twice a year) but this one is one we will get to. We have not been planning on frothing or wailing, but I suppose we could if it is mandatory. . .:rotfl2:

Links?

As for the original question, no, I'm not going to see it. Not in theaters or DVD, or any other way.

Yes, we hope to get to see it at some point over the weekend.

I will not and would never see a movie on someones death that a studio, family or whoever is trying to make money out of it. What a shame!!!!. Shame on whoever decided to make money on this. I might have gone if and only if 100% profits would go towards a charity of Michael's choice.

I would have rather watched it on a documentary channel so everyone could see it and the family or studio donate the money to a charity of Michael's choice.

I think people should avoid seeing because they are only giving money on someones death to fill someones pockets.:sad2::sad2:
