MGM to Boardwalk

I need a TS meal for my MGM day and I'm not anxious to try any of the MGM restaurants. Spoodles at Boardwalk sounds interesting, and I would like to know if it's possible to walk from MGM to Spoodles and then back, or is that too far (and require bus or boat transportation)? I don't want to waste alot of park time! Thanks!

10 to 15 minute walk each way.

There's only one walkway that goes around the lake at the front of MGM.
Take that walkway and you'll go right to Boardwalk.

Or there is a Friendship boat that will take you there and back as well. (The Boardwalk dock is almost directly in front of Spoodles.)

BTW, the boat trip will take almost exactly 15 minutes between those two points (it makes other stops, too), so if the boat is at the dock when you are going... you might as well take it.

It is a pleasant, easy walk from MGM to the Boardwalk. I agree, it will be 15 mins each way. The Friendship Launch is a nice alternative if you are not up to walking. The Boardwalk is a really nice area and I think it is worth the walk or boat ride to experience yet another themed resort area in WDW.
I am trying Spoodles for the first time in a few weeks, so I can not comment on the food there.

You will probably have spent a day in the parks already by that time, so what might not be normally a bad walk might be pretty tiring. I'd take the boat. If the boat is not more than a 5-minute wait, I think it would get to BW about the same time as walking, or maybe a little sooner. And you get to rest tired feet.
