Hello Everyone! Has anyone ever done a Hollywood Studios Photo Shoot? Do you have pics you could share? If you haven't what "landmarks/backdrops" would you suggest in the Park? Thanks!

We posted asking the same thing last week. No one responded. We have similar questions. It is a beautiful park, but Disney photography was advising us against it.

most likely becasue you have to be done before the park opens for guests, and with an 8am breakfast you'll have to be done by 7:45ish, and depending on your time of year, it's not light enough, as most the areas of Studios aren't lit for photos.

It actually has nothing to do with having to take the pictures before the park opens, in fact it's because you have to do it when the park is open that causes the problem. We're looking to do the engagement pictures and we had wanted to do The Magic Kingdom with H.S. as a possibility. However, we were informed that they no longer did engagement photos at M.K. as it gets too busy/crowded. They strongly suggested EPCOT and said that we could do H.S. but they did not guarantee the quality of the pictures because the park is small and gets crowded. I think we are going to try it anyway,

For engagment/honeymoon that is true, they are done during park hours, but for the Bridal shoots, they do those before park open. As they don't want guests to see you in your dresss.

Figentfan814 did studios as part of her bridal shoot. I'm not sure there are any pics in her trip report, but it might be worth checking out http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1752447

Besides the Mickey Hat, where else in the Park would be a wonderful backdrop?

There's so many! Off the top of my head: in front of Grauman's Chinese Theater (houses GMR), the terrace at TOT, the brushy area around Star Tours, random spots on Hollywood Blvd, over by the Brown Derby, in front of either the Muppet Fountain or the fountain by the Tips & Times board.

Also, I think it depends what type of look you're going for in your pics. If you're looking for more 'posed' type shots, you may be better off at Epcot. :)

Thanks for the suggestions. This is what I needed to hear. I ask because I haven't been to this Park in over 8 years! :scared1: I don't remember anything specific. Photo shoots are being done in MK, Epcot and Animal Kingdom already. Thanks!

Thanks for the info. I think a Bridal shoot at DHS sounds fantastic!! I think you could get a lot of really cool shots!!

Agreed! Can you imagine the old hollywood shots you'd get??? I'd so play it up with a 1950's pin-up girl hair style and i'd take pictures with all the old cars and stuff!:cutie:
