...but indiana jones for example is owned by lucasfilm although it's distributed by 20th century fox.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I liked the golden age of movies. And these new attractions don't really appeal to me, I'm 20 so the whole pixar thing is just so lame, I love Classic disney.
And high school musical and playhouse disney? Seems like a lot of attention to draw the kiddies..MGM needed a few improvements but personally I don't think this was the way to go...
If it werent for fantasmic, RNR coaster and 50's prime time cafe. I wouldnt go to MGM. But thats just me![]()
But I just think nothing beats classic animation, but I guess it depends what you were brought up with. I do agree with you though about keeping pixar out of MK but I don't think they should leave out the older favorites in their planning as well.I respect your opinion. Maybe the should do a classic hollywood area? keep everyone happy.
All I'm saying is the majority of ppl my age still watch the classics we grew up with (Alladin, Little Mermaid, Beauty and The Beast, The Lion King) and I have no doubt pixar is where disney is headed, I've been to disney on ice and the majority of ppl clapped loudest when the incredibles came out.But I just think nothing beats classic animation, but I guess it depends what you were brought up with. I do agree with you though about keeping pixar out of MK but I don't think they should leave out the older favorites in their planning as well.

Does this spell the end for "The Great Movie Ride", with all the MGM movies in the ride and its growing age, what will disney do with it?
