Hi. We head to the World Dec 10-13. It is a short trip and since the hours are out now, it is all I am thinking about. I am so excited! Anyway, Friday the 10th is our arrival day, and we probably won't get to MGM until 3pm. Please give suggestions on how I can fit these favorites in. We want to see Beauty and the Beast, RnR, ToT, the 3:30 parade, and maybe Startours and Indiana Jones show. Plus we will view the Osbourne Lights. It's a lot to see, we might have to skip some things, but with help, maybe we can fit it in. It is open until 8pm. Thanks for your suggestions!!!

When it gets closer, check this website for the two show times and then work around that. http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/index.htm
From what I remember, Beauty and the Beast is usually done mornings and early afternoons, not always late afternoons - unless it's during a busy time.

Honestly, not certain you're going to be able to pull it off. If you're willing to skip the parade, you'll stand a better chance, as you could get one of the rides done then since the lines might be a little smaller during the parade.

Without looking at the times, here's how I'd work it:

Star Tours(Assuming you get there no later than 3:00 exactly)
Parade
Beauty
Indiana Jones
RnR(Get a Fastpass)
Tower
Ride RnR

We usually hit B&B first thing if its running we then do other rides till the parade. A great place to see the parade is at Sounds Dangerous there are benches that you can sit on in front of statues and no one is infront of you. Don't miss Fantasmic and then after the show the let you walk over to the Osborne Family Lights. They have a dinner package with special seating for Fantasmic. Have a great trip.

FANTASMIC? This is a must for our trips to MGM. Personally, I would gladly trade the parade for Fantasmic. I am sure that you would not have time for all these things, but I wanted to share my opinion. I just LOVE this show!!

I hear you about Fantasmic. We saw it two years ago, and the kids were so tired they didn't enjoy it properly. My daughter is 9 now, but at age 7, she was scared of so many things---including that show. It was frustrating. Anyway, we have never seen the parade and she votes for that this time. Same for the Indy show. I hear it's not all that great anymore, but we haven't seen it either and she thinks she can "handle it" now.

Ditto on Fantasmic. I almost skipped it thinking the kids (4 & 8) would be scared but they LOVED it! We just saw it Thursday and that's all they talk about.
