For those of you experienced in Early Entry at MGM....do the non-EE rides open right at 9am? Trying to figure out if I can do MV3d, maybe TOT, then get to Great Movie Ride at 9 am and do it in time to get in line for the first show at BBBH (show starts at 10).

Some rides don't open until 10:30 or even 11 even if the park does open at 9. :(

Usually if you will catch GMR early in the morning, you won't have to wait long no matter what time it is.

Even if TGMR opens at 9, I think it would be pushing it to go through the cue, ride it, then book it over to have a good spot in line for BBBH. You might get in by 10, but you will be way back in the back because this show lines up EARLY!

Check Matt's MGM website - he might be able to tell you exactly what time TGMR opens on most days. It is NOT an EE ride as far as I remember from last time we were there on EE.

OK, I'm having a little acronym trouble here. BBBH? Does that stand for "Bear in the Big Blue House"? If so, that show is now called "Playhouse Disney Live!" (Bear is joined by Rolie Polie Olie, Stanley, and Pooh.) When we were there last month, they were "testing" Fast Pass for Playhouse Disney. If they still have Fast Pass for PD when you go, and if they have the machines active that early, then you could grab a fast pass on the way to the GMR, and then you should be in pretty good shape. (Of course, those may be two pretty big "Ifs".)

I went to an EE at MGM at the beginning of Feb. (mind you that we had non-existant waits this whole week)...but anyway....The Great Movie Ride did open promptly at 9:00. (I was standing in front of it waiting for my DH). I did not line up until maybe 9:10 or so and I walked right through the ropes and right into a car.

Right afterwards, my DH and I walked over to get into line for Playhouse Disney. I am almost sure that we would have gotten into that first showing (my DD got cranky and upset so we decided to skip it), even though there was a pretty big line by that point. If you go at a busy time...I WOULD be worried about lining up for that show in time. I'm pretty confident that we would have made it though.

The crowd level at the time of your visit will be the deciding factor.

...for all the great info - especially the info on FP at PD. Don't know how the crowds will be on Saturday after MemDay. On EE morning, we should have plenty of time to do Muppets and get to GMR before 9. Sounds like it's worth giving it a try, and if the line is real long for the PD show at 10, we'll grab an FP (if they have it) and go do Voyage of LM or something else and come back to it. My DD is a 1st grader, so she's borderline as to whether she wants to see the PD show. We're hopping to AK when the crowds get bad. We'll have another non-EE day to spend the afternoon and evening at MGM.
