Should we plan an entire day at MGM with our 4 year old? Will she be bored or is there enough to do?

Our girls will be 5 when we go. We are only planning on 1/2 day at the Studios. I've heard the Beauty and the Beast show is good. We will do the Muppet Show and the Hollywood Ride. We have ADRs for lunch at Sci-Fi Dine in. One of my girls is a budding artist so we plan on hitting the Animation Studio. That is about it.

In addition to what the previous poster mentioned, my DD(then4) also enjoyed the Little Mermaid show, Star Tours, the HSM Pep Rally and the character meet 'n' greets (especially the Playhouse Disney characters). The Playhouse Disney show has been redone recently and now includes current shows. (It was still the old one when we were there.) The new parade is also coming soon which should be a lot of fun. We were not able to get to Fantasmic last time but it is a must see for us next time. While DHS is probably my least favorite of the parks, you could easily find enough to do to last a day. :goodvibes

last time we went our ds was just turned 4. he really enjoyed mgm. He even did TOT. he loved Lights motor stunt show and indiana show. lots of meet and greet ops by hat / great movie ride entrance. i thnk they'll enjoy it:thumbsup2

We usually spend a full day at DHS. My kids were 9 and 4 on our last trip. We like the Playhouse Disney Show(which now has Handy Manny, Mickey's Clubhouse, Little Einstein's), Little Mermaid Show, Beauty and the Beast, Muppets 3D, Great Movie Ride, all the character Meet n Greets(Mike & Sulley, JoJo and Goliath, Lightning Mcqueen and Tow Mater and so many other hard to find characters). What I like best is the shopping!LOL I think they have the best shops at DHS. We also loved the parade(our kids got to be in it last time)but there is a new one starting and it looks like fun. 50's Prime Time Cafe is a must for us, the food and atmosphere are great!! There will be a new Toy Story ride opening there soon which should be a lot of fun.

For us, the only park we either skip or do just a half day at is AK.

The Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground is super fun and a great photo op for parents too. This is one of our favorite attractions and we come here a few times each visit....also great for letting the kids run around w/o lines or timetables, etc. Also, the Great Movie Ride is great...just don't let them look up at the Alien part!

Beauty and the Beast, Indiana Jones and Lights,Motor,Action! are all great shows and just coordinating your schedule around the showtimes and meals could take the better part of the day, but would be worth it!

Is Herbie still back on the The Streets of America by the stunt show? He is my daughter's "best friend". She could spend hours back there "talking" to him.
