Mexican Riviera July 20, 08...Hola Amigos

Hi everyone....

Laura wow that is great that your DD walked that MATATHON kudos to her and her friends.:thumbsup2

Christmas is always hard to get into the spirit when your spending sooooo muchhhhh moneyyyyyy :) I am waiting for it to hit me. We have the house 1/2 way decorated and can't seem to find the time to finish it:confused3 :)

Is anyone going somewhere fun for Christmas?

Update:

April scored her first goal off of the other team's corner throw/kick????? What do I know - I just show up and take pictures. Go figure the one time I don't show up and she not only scores a goal but win 4-0. Maybe I should miss more often???? :rotfl2:

It seems like all the exciting stuff happens the games you miss!

Probably corner kick. My DS10 plays as well however we are done for the fall season and will start again in the Spring. He usually plays goalee.

How are we supposed to lose weight before the cruise with all the Christmas parties and cookies! I am having 4 parties at my house over the next two weeks!:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared: :scared:

Obviously I am insane! Or at least I will be!

I wish they would get the excursions posted I am excited to see what they are.

Pumpkin Baby - were I an organized person I would have kept the excursions from 2 yrs ago. However, one thing I do remember which I'm hoping doesn't repeat - the water was cold in July - some people got stung especially in Cabo so depending on what you want to do there is a lot.

In Mazatlan we ending getting an open golf cart tour which we found someone inside the terminal to take all four of us for $80 for the whole day. I didn't think that was bad and he took us all over the place for about 8 hrs. We basically ended up following or catching up to a lot of DCL tours. But got out before they did and we got to spend more time at some other places.

Mexico is pretty easy to find someone and if you like to talk alot - you'll end up having more fun than a DCL tour. Just make sure you allow plenty of time to get back - I always make sure to get back at least 1 hr before boarding - One time we were 15 minutes late to my self-imposed time and I got on everyone's nerves because I was panicking - turns out the ship waited on a DCL tour that was 20 minutes late. So it was all for naught.

In regards to losing weight - I gave up - I'm planning on staying this weight until after New Year's!

Hi, everyone,

Happy Holidays!

We've decided to go to China in summer 2008, so we just moved our cruise date to Christmas. Cabin 6032 is free to grab now.

Sorry, friends. Wish everyone have a fun cruise trip!

Excursions are out!:cheer2: :dance3:

I did notice that a lot of the things are for older children, which leaves DD7 out. Oh well I think we can find plenty to do! Also no snorkeling where there are jellyfish for me!:scared1:

It might actually be easier to narrow down what we're going to do. There are things for me, DH, DS11, and DD7. I may have to talk Dad and stepmom into taking a child for a couple of things.

All this is getting me excited and ready to go!  :woohoo: :woohoo:

Hope everyone isn't going to crazy getting ready for Christmas!:scared:

Busy as usual! Starting to lose that weight so I can be fit for cruise! Since last time I gained 10 pounds! I would like to lose enough to be below the weight I want so I can fit in my clothes when it's over!:yay:

I wear the same clothes on the cruises every year. So when I gain 10 lbs I must loose it to get back into my pants :rotfl2:

Will start working on that soon. I have 10 lbs again to loose. I am 155 lbs and get down to 145. I am 5'7 so not that over weight but getting 10 lbs off of me because of my mad cow disease(what I call my menopause) is not that easy.

Besides I love hot Chocolate in the winter ...ugggg....:rotfl:

I unfortunately have gained more than that. I would also am 5'7 and need to get down to at least 150. I want to wear the same formal clothes for sure since I have no other use for them really, but if I don't lose about 50 pounds that ain't gonna happen:scared1:

You can do it..have some faith :thumbsup2 get on that elliptical at the gym and go for it....that would be less than 10 lbs a month. I challenge you :woohoo:

If there is anyone else here that needs to loose some wt lets challenge each other...

I'm not even on this cruise date anymore, as you know I sail on the 27th instead but it is still almost tthe same time frame.

Dh is starting at Wt Watchers next week. He has a good 60lbs to loose. But as we all know men loose it faster than us poor woman.

I am following weight watchers plan and going to gym. I have no doubts that I can do it, it's just doing it! Weight Watchers really works I have lost 70 pounds in the past doing it, too much crap happened and I put it back on, but I will get it off and keep it off this time.

Well howdy there,
So how has weight watchers been going???? DH is suppose to be joining up if he ever gets around to it. He has about 50 lbs or so to loose. Junk food between meals will do that to ya I tell him :confused3 :)

So do you like Weight watchers???

Hi everyone! I haven't posted in a very long time...but it is finally getting closer! The kids are really excited! I wanted to touch base and see if there are any others with a dd around 10 or 11 y.o. My dd is turning 11 on the day we leave, and I know she would love to "meet" a friend before the cruise. We did this on the last cruise and it was so nice to chat with a buddy and get to know someone before we left on vacation, and have a friend to hang out with in the lab.

Please let me know...post here or PM me.

:sail: :sail: Helloooooo - Is anyone out there? :sail: :sail:

LOL - just funning you all, thread was way back on page 4 so thought I'd bump us. Ok - here's a call out - I have a 15 yo going on this cruise - she was asking if anyone had other teenagers going. Robin - do we have a thread for teenagers going?

OK - here's a duh moment for you - the ship leaves on Sunday?

Guess I've been out of the loop longer than I thought.

Next, let me see, things happening here too much to go into but I hope to get a bit more focused soon.

Anyone paid off yet? As for losing weight, haven't done that although I keep being asked if I lost any weight - as far as I know - I haven't but I definitely need to go there. I'd be happy with 20 lbs although technically I am obese for my height. Need to lost about 45 lbs to be slight plump. But who cares - my body likes my pleasiningly plumpness. :lmao: :rotfl2:

Althogh I will give it the old college try. :rotfl2: Naw - who am I kidding.

You go girls! (And boys too)

Take care - check back soon.

Howdy there, as far as I now there is no teen thread started. But have her start one if there is not one. My sons usually start one and they have yet to do so. As you may remember we are no longer on this cruise we are on the following week but will keep updating posters that come here.

that is why every time this thread comes up I come in to say hi and see what is up and if anyone is new to add. Would have loved to do our BTB but they wanted to much in DVC points so decided to to a week at DL before the cruise instead.

Well as for your weight you still have time to do it if you decide to That would be about 24lbs if you went for 2 lbs a week :thumbsup2

And yes the ship leaves on Sunday :thumbsup2 threw me off also since in Florida we leave on a Saturday. Let me know if your teen decides to add a thread I will post it on the first page.

Have a great day!

Weight loss is going good. Have lost 11 pounds so far. Wouldn't it be nice if it came off as fast as the first week.

My DS will turn 11 on June 1st, but DD is only 7. My dad who is going with us has a birthday the day the cruise leaves too. Of course he will be 68!

I just purchased airline tickets today!:woohoo: Makes it seem like it is more of a reality.

I am now starting to look at limo services and sometime really need to start concentrating on Disneyland portion before the cruise. I kind of have neglected that.

Bought a new suitcase for my DD. It has monkeys on it. She is sooo excited. She is already discussing which clothes to bring!:lmao:

Got Disneyland paid off and have one more payment for cruise!
