The tequila tasting sounds awesome! I really want to do one but if the one on the Dream is they way you described, I'm not sure I will... Definitely sounds like it's worth the $$ though!
P.S. I have that Mickey t-shirt you wore to the character breakfast! Great minds
Don't you LOVE Target! Got that shirt for under 10 bucks!
Too funny the keyboardist kept catching you!
Parrot Cay looks so cute, so many people say that's their least favorite restaurant.
I know, that's what I hear too! The theming is really cute though, so I don't know why people wouldn't like it
Hello, We are going Mexican Reviera on Disney this month and this is our 1st time
Disney cruise. Could you please give us update info about side tours in Cabo and Puerto Vallarta? We haven't book any tours yet but want to know which one is good one.
Thanks.
We didn't do any tours in Cabo but I will tell you that if you're looking into seeing a beach, don't book any tours through Disney. Instead, get off the ship and look for a water taxi or taxi to take you to a specific beach, like lovers beach or medano beach. It will be WAY cheaper than booking a tour through Disney. As for Puerto Vallarta, we did the Outdoor Adventure excursion....WORTH EVERY PENNY! That update is coming up!
You guys got such cute hats! I've been reading a few other TRs, and I've seen some pretty whacky hats. I especially like Daniel's, he looks like Peter Pan!
There was some CRAZY hats going on in that room. In fact, someone was wearing a turban-thing and we asked the waiter what that was supposed to resemble and he had no idea

He had never seen that one before. It was fun.
The tastings sound like they were a lot of fun. We only did the martini tasting, on an empty stomach as well, and had so much fun. I love how they have the character breakfast on your cruise. They didn't have this when I went on the Wonder any of the times I went. I would have loved to do this. It is possible I didn't know about it though.
I saw pictures of the martini tasting when we got home, and I was SO mad that we didn't do that. That's something i'll be doing on our next cruise for sure.
I think the cruise has to be 7 nights or longer to get the character breakfast, because we didn't have that option on our 5 night in June.
OMG, I think even with food in my belly I wouldn't be able to walk after having 3 shots of taquilla and 2 mararitas. That being said, I am so doing this tasting when I'm on board in less than 2 weeks!!!!!

You will love it!
You are such a beautiful couple, but the Giants gear ruins it. Can I buy him a Sharks sweater, or if he doesnt watch hockey, a Cubs shirt?
Kidding....kinda
Thank you for the wonderful reports, I feel like I am there with you!
Uh-oh. Thank goodness I'm not wearing my Giants gear on this cruise. You would probably hate me

Actually, I grew up watching both the Cubs and the Giants. Have mad respect for the Cubs.

So you can buy me a Cubs shirt!
I am loving your trip report.
Do you remember if you ever had to adjust your clocks on the cruise? I'm trying to figure out the difference between ship time and local time for our stop in Puerto Vallarta next month.
Please let me know if you remember.
Thanks!
Oops sorry about that. Yes on the second night they put a card on your bed with the Navigator telling you to move your clocks forward by one hour. They tell you to remain on ship time when you get off at PV so keep your watch with ship time, and you'll be fine.
Wonderful updates
A quick question for you, how do you sign up for the tasting events?
I'd really like to try one (or two

) on our May cruise, do you just find out about them on the Navigator and sign up the night before somewhere?
Also, I love the picture of you and DH on formal night, you make a very cute couple
To sign up for the tasting seminars, you go to Guest Services and they'll give you little tickets that you take with you to the tastings. The tastings will be in the Navigator the night before, so the next morning is when you would head to Guest Services to sign up.
Ok, so I am trying to figure out the title of this thread, did you say a souvenir is in the works....like in this video...ahem

How old is this commercial?!? I remember seeing this a LOOOONG time ago! And Yep! You are correct!
Your formal nite photo is terrific. You picked a winner

Thanks for posting the Navigators..we're doing an 8night out of NYC in June and I have to think that many of the activities will be similar.
That 8 night is going to be amazing! So jealous!
Thank you so much for all of your hard work!

I am thoroughly enjoying your trip report and, if it is possible, I am getting even more excited for our cruise in February.
Yay! If there's any questions you have please feel free to ask!
Hello,
really enjoying the tr. We sail to the MR in April.
I saw a Pic of the cigars, is there a place to enjoy cigars on the wonder?
a cigar lounge perhaps?
DH didn't get a chance to smoke on the Wonder but there are places you can smoke. Here's a link for you
http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/faqs/health-safety/smoking/
On the Dream, my DH and brother were able to smoke at a few more places than on the Wonder. Hope this helps!
Also just noticed you did the Outdoor adventure in PV We are too, can't wait to see the rest of your report
OH MY GOSH! This was the BEST money ever spent! Getting to that update here pretty shortly
Great trip report!!! Can't believe I missed it earlier.
So, here is really dumb question but for the door magnets do you print them directly on magnets or special paper? I'm definitely making one for our next cruise.
I love all the pictures. Almost tempting me to book another cruise before Disney leaves Mexico.
There is magnet paper you can buy where you print your images directly to it. What I did though is print my images on that thick cardstock paper, then went to target and bought contact paper (next to the shelf lining section) and put it on the cardstock paper and cut the image out. I then bought two types of magnets - the sticky magnets where it has glue already on it, and round magnets where you super glue them on. Honestly, the round magnets where I had to super glue them myself worked the best. Hope that helps! It was so fun making them, i'll definitely make them again for our next cruise!
