Looked like a fantastic day Lesha!
That port adventure looked really fun... I think I would like it, except for that spider in the ladies' restrooms!

Yikes! That spider was really gross but all the women walking under it took it like a champ!
Oh! My! Gosh! What an adventure!!! That excursion looked so awesome. I went zip-lining with BF when we were on a cruise in Jamaica and it was fantastic. But on your excursion you definitely did way more! I think we only had 7 or 8 zips in total and we didnt do any repeling which looks crazy scary and crazy fun! You looked like a pro! And to zip through a waterfall (even if it is freezing) would be such a neat experience. Im so jealous! How many hours was the excursion from start to finish?
P.S. Glad you got to change into dry socks and shoes! Im totally with you on hating those wet squishy socks!
Your room service meal (or meals?) have my mouth watering. That all looked SO SO good! I kind of hate you right now for teasing me with these pictures while Im so hungry! And dinner looked fantastic too. Mmmmm... Even though I'm hating you right now...I'm also having fun living through your cruise memories
Man, that excursion lasted over 6 hours! Definitely worth what we paid. One place I would love to zipline at is Costa Rica. I hear it's beautiful. Although Puerto Vallarta was pretty darn awesome!
Don't you hate looking at peoples food when your hungry?!

I hate when I do that to myself around 11am because my lunch is at 11:30 and i'm seeing all these wonderful foods that I'd love to eat, then I go home and there's nothing remotely close to being that good!

With all the calories you burned on your ziplining adventure, I'm not surprised you guys ate so much! Looking forward to your dinner review!
I really did feel like such a pig eating all that food. But boy was it good!
Love the spider photo, my wife is a deputy sheriff, she can be surrounding by 20 rapists, murderers, child molesters, ECT with only her fists to defend herself, but if you toss a spider in the mix she will scream like a little girl. Quite funny, actually.
Glad you got to meet some fellow Sacramentans, we love Disney up here!
Hey, spiders are scary creatures! I'm not as freaked out by spiders as I am by bees/wasps. We've had to rip out tons of bushes in front of our house because there would be a few bees on them. I horrifically scared of them for some reason!
Your
youtube video is super nice - like watching a
National Geographic Special. Thanks for sharing. Our sail date is in two and a half weeks. Somehow, I observed that your pictures are missing something which I cannot pinpoint until what you mentioned when conversing with a family in Sacramento. I hope to see a little Alicia and a little Daniel in your future
Disney Cruise.
Your TR is very helpful and I feel like I've been to the MR cruise already. I will patiently wait on your next update.
Cheers!!!

I hope to see a little Crow running around too soon! That's one thing I cannot WAIT to do, is take them to
Disneyland, Disney World, and on a Disney Cruise. My poor child. They'll be Disney'd out before they turn 3!
Oh what fun! I wondered about the "Match Your mate" game, glad to hear its a blast. So what were your favorite things to do on the boat?
Definitely check out the nightly adult cabarets that happen at Wavebands. If you're not used to staying up late, you better get used to it. Things don't kick off until 10:30pm

That was one of the more difficult things for us - trying to stay up late. But after the first night we were pros. Also, the tasting seminars are great fun, if you enjoy something like that. They had beer, wine, tequila, mojitos, martinis, cognac, and some other type of liquor. I think whiskey maybe? Anyway, those are always fun. We also LOVE pool time when the weather is right!
On our wedding cruise I want to be on Match your Mate sooo badly, but they picked someone else...AND I even was wearing my Minnie Bride ears! Sounds like a good day. I can not wait to try the escargot in Epcot, I love the ones on the Disney Cruises.
Oh pooh! You'd think they'd want the very newlyweds on there right? Guess you'll have to try again soon! Oh man, the escargot in France tasted wonderful. I'm not sure if they were more creamy-tasting or what, but that's one thing we'll be doing whenever we get our butts back to WDW.
OMG, OMG, OMG, Dh and I set sail on Sunday and I've been trying to find a review of the Outdoor adventure since we are doing it. OMG! That looks awesome! And a bit scary. I will DEFINATELY remember to eat a BIG breakfast with lots of protien that day.
Question: Did you wear your wedding ring on the excursion or did you leave it in the safe on the boat. I can't figure out what to do with mine.
I'm so glad I updated on time for you then to read the Outdoor Adventure!
I didn't take ANY jewelry with me on this excursion. I actually hid my rings in some of the pockets of my clothes. I was going to use the safe until I heard stories of people not being able to get into their safes, so they had to pay for the safe to get broken into. I just hid my things really good.
Your TR is awesome.
Forgot to tell you - we ran into the band guys at the pool after the pirate party.
T
YAY! So glad to see you on here again!
Gasp. Did you say hi to them?? I would have enjoyed running into my keyboard man!
Alicia--Great report. I have enjoyed it immensely and getting very excited about our up coming MR cruise--only 11 days!!!
I do have a question. You said that you carried on your own liquor. Does it have to be carried on or can you have it in checked bag? And I'm assuming it has to be new and still sealed? Thanks in advance!
What we did is we brought one of those duffel roller bags and put our wine, liquor, and mixes in it, so it would be easy to transfer from place to place, since your room won't be ready for a couple hours after you board the ship. You MUST carry it on. If they find it in your checked luggage, they will pull it out of your bag, and will return it to you at the end of the cruise.
I'm not too sure about the sealed part. All of our things were brand new so they weren't opened, but I don't see why you couldn't bring unsealed bottles. Hope this helps!
Oh, here is the official alcohol policy on board any of the Disney ships:
"Alcohol is permitted on board. However, any fragile items (including alcoholic beverages) must be hand-carried on board in the carry-on of an adult Guest age 21 or older (dimensions can't exceed 22" wide, 14" high and 9" deep).
Alcohol brought on board may not be consumed in any lounge or public area.
Guests who arrive in the dining room, including Palo and Remy, with a bottle of champagne or wine will be charged a corking fee of $20.00 per bottle.
Please be advised:
Disney Cruise Line reserves the right to remove fragile items (including beverages) from checked luggage. In such cases, items will be stored and returned at the end of the voyage. Beverage containers are considered fragile and have previously caused damage in checked luggage. All fragile items must be transported inside carry-on luggage."
Well the internet does it again! I had a whole post prepared and it disappeared. I can completely understand why you ordered all that food from room service! I would have been famished too! I'm not sure we could have eaten dinner after that with our aging metabolisms, but you folks are still young and can eat like you want to!
I would have got the Grand Marinier Souffle becuase I get that everywhere I can, I love that more than anything else! If I could have that all the time I would and be 100 pounds heavier! I'm glad only a few places I know of make them!
Looks like you had a lot of fun that day!
That happens to me a lot too! So sometimes if it's a long drawn out reply, I end up saving it before submitting it, in case it gets that stupid error.

I KNEW you were going to say something about the Souffle! I know it's your favorite and on the Dream it was sooo good! I'm not sure why I didn't get both.
Oh wow - bless your DH for sharing your crush
If that been me, my face would have been the colour of the cherries in your dessert

I was definitely blushing and embarrassed!
I'm still chuckling about DHs cruel jokes. Those strong drinks must have loosened up his tongue!
Room service and dinner looked fantastic! I am so ready to go cruising!!! You could have had both desserts right? Or do the waiters give funny looks when people order more than one of a course? I've read some don't even bat an eye.
How cool the boat drivers took you to see those awesome Arcs. An MR cruise might be inching up on my list. The fish video was really nice, thanks
Nope! The waiters don't care at all about ordering two of something (appetizers, entrees or desserts) They don't even think twice, they just get it for you. Which is nice!
I think ANY Disney cruise should be inching up on your list! I guess I can't speak for all of the itineraries, but we have not been disappointed thus far and I can't imagine ever being disappointed honestly.
