Thanks.Yeah, at first I was going to go and just try to ignore the offenders, but then remembered that these aren't "normal" people- they are a bit aggressive and will just walk up and tell me exactly what they're thinking. When I heard they were already gossiping about my going, a red flag went up for me. I don't want to expose Sienna to any possible conflicts. The reunion is in town, but the family I want to see are all coming from out of town and this is on Easter weekend, so it might be difficult to see them at a separate time.
My first instinct was to tell you to go...but then I read this. Do you really want to subject that sweet Marigny to ignorant people? I would hate for her to overhear something mean about you or her daddy. They are such little sponges at this age.
