I'd like to suggest that if you're stressing, stay off all of the DIS except here with us. There are so many complaints and expectations out there that can make you whack-a-doodle before a trip..

I agree - everybody here is so nice. Yes we all have problems but it seems like everyone here handles them like an adult and doesn't try to push off their problems on anyone else.

And yes I am at WDW right now - until next Tuesday. It's my reward for what I've dealt with this summer (with dad's issues ) and the convention that I just attended. What could be worse than being in Orlando blocks from WDW and being in meetings from dawn to midnight. I'm at Saratoga Springs and loving it.

I'll have a lot to deal with when I get home. We have to empty Dad's house - as it is on the market. Plus I need to find someplace to stay when I am there to see Dad.

My sister has told me that I cannot stay with her. I have to admit that was very hurtful. I would never take my dogs to her house (she has 4 cats), so I was surprised that she said I could not stay with her.

She has a 4 br house about 2000 sq. feet. She's had tons of financial problems, and I've helped her with a LOT of money (with no strings attached). We get along and are really pretty close so this just stuns me.

On your sister's attitude. I am so sorry that she is acting that way towards you.

Finding your own place is probably a good thing because- I'm sorry if I'm wrong- but your sister seems very hot and cold. It's hard to be around someone like that. Praying that it won't be too hard for you to go through your dad's things. If your sister and brother have had access to the house while you've been gone, I have a feeling a lot of the stuff has already been gone through. We're here if you need us.

Gang...I am in Jackson today and returning tomorrow.

This aggravates me for Rie. She's finally found a school where she's succeeding & happy, and she has to face this kind of foolishness? I know you & DH will do what's right. Prayers for patience for both of you ('cuz I know you've go the legal side covered! )

This makes me feel so outraged. WTH

Why, why, why can't anything go right for me?????????? Just got a call, there's an insurance issue now, we're delayed until this afternoon, if not it will be tomorrow....... I took off work today.......

I had to wait over an hour for the principal because he was in a meeting but in the meantime, I spoke with 2 counselors which was a good thing because they were waiting to talk to the principal and gave him the heads up. He could not have been nicer. Marie is switched to the other class. I told him that Marie doesn't know about the PE teacher going to her doctor but that she knew I was trying to get her class changed. I also told him that I told a Rie if the teacher approaches her to go to her guidance counselor. He said,
"Ms. Rie's mom, I can promise you that Ms. nutcase(my words) will have zero contact with your daughter." He was very annoyed with the woman I could tell. She is going to have the riot act read to her at the very least.
Hopefully, this is over.

I went to the Dr's office today. I've been feeling terrible since Monday evening. Dr. says I have a sinus infection and now I am on antibiotics and decongestant.

Thank-you, Mary. The worst thing in the world is when our kids suffer. Prayerfully, it's over.

As I was sitting waiting for the meeting with the principal, I was reading but nervous too - I almost felt like I was in trouble at school. Gosh, it's good to be able to laugh about it!!!

BTW, I went back to the physical therapist's office today to get a new note for the new PE teacher. He said that in the 26 years that he's been in business he has never had nor has he ever heard of a teacher doing what that PE teacher did yesterday. Besides wanting to know about Marie, she started quizzing him about who wrote the notes because the handwriting was different! It was because the nurse wrote the order and he signed it. That woman is a whack-a-doodle for true!

Kyle just called and he was very excited. There were 16 pitchers trying out and only 3 made it through to next week's try-out and he was one!!!

Hey gals! Thisll probably be my last post till we get home. We have Thursday and Friday pretty packed,sleep in on sat before heading home.

Today was our rest day as tempting as it was to head out to a park this evening. We stayed at the hotel after BB(fun!).
Heading to bed early and DHStomorrow. Crowd levels are the nest we've experienced.

Anyway we are all good!
