Oh yeah, DH and I both took the ghetto quiz and got "You live there!". We had a good laugh over it. Our neighborhood IS sort of ghetto-ish...sort of "ghetto-lite".

And thank you for updating us all. I slept all morning but kept waking up and refreshing this thread to look for your update. We have about 4 guys over doing work to our home, like fixing the attic door and fixing the sheetrock from the time we thought we had busted pipes and it wasn't-but the sheetrock was busted into to check for it. It was in the garage and didn't bother us, but we're trying to make it all shiny and pretty! They are also re-painting the trim work in the den and hall. I got through all my craft/school stuff yesterday and next is getting some garage stuff into storage THEN getting to the stinky freezer.
The guys being over gave me a good excuse to hang out in my room and do DISNEY trip planning and pulling out stuff the kids will want for the trip they are not going on(LOL)- it has been fun listening to them talk about how WE are going on vacation without them(we told them we were going to the Keys by ourselves). It will be a last minute packing trip as I will be packing them "for granny b's". I simply cannot wait to see thier faces when we get to the airport! I am still thinking it through, but I THINK we are gonna get out the car, get all the bags, then hand them the goodie bags I made up for them (with thier pin lanyards, Tinker Bell pen on a lanyard, notebooks, candy, and hair thingys I collected for them for this trip)...........not sure HOW we are going to tell them they need to get out and come on the plane with us yet. Ideas welcome!
I so WISH I could come to the pottery place with you so I could make a NOLA themed something for our future house in Houston-but I do beleive I am working that weekend.But hey, somebody has to pay for WDW!

But I doubt you want to spoil the surprise in the parking garage (blah place for a great memory) so have their bags of goodies in a bigger duffel or something; telling them those are their overnight bags for staying with your friends until you get inside the airport to the flight kiosk and they see their names are on your itinerary too? 
Maybe we can do one of our meets at Venezia or Brocato's. Those are right in Lorie's neighborhood. And Lorie, my son goes to school around the corner from you, so I guess he is ghetto schooled

, but I am finding much humor in thier pititfulness about "our" trip. bad momma....bad mommma.............. It will all just make the surpise better. . Crazy dude! But it has been fun booking it without having to figure out what everyone wants-I just scanned the menus, took your advice, looked at what days we'd be when, and booked!
It was crazy. Show up at 9, get a 90 minute lunch, leave at 4. Short day to begin with, with nothing to actually DO, then get a long lunch? I could have gotten used to that, but everybody else was whining that they wanted to back to work. It was so odd I tell you!
