Lori- I can't believe you've been able to keep the trip a secret! If the "ride to the airport to say bye" plan works, just remember NOT to let them drop off their stuff @ Granny's! That would be the problem with my two - Why can't we just stay here now? Do we HAVE to go ride all the way to the airport? You'll have to make sure you're "running late" so there's no time to unpack the car on the 1st stop!

Lorie- I wantt o be kidnapped too- I have YET to meet Bethany, someone I have "talked" to on FB and by text almost every night, except for the past few weeks(sorry Bethany and Kristina)- we have been SUPER busy! Then we have school to start too.

Kathy- I think your choices look wonderful! Things we will do once the kids are older!

House is freshened up around the edges, but I decided we are having a HUGE 'Magic Eraser Day'-friends invited! . The doors were painted a couple years ago, and it just seems we need Mr Clean around here-magic erasers are wonderful. If that doesn't do it, we'll paint I guess. Or touch up. My doors look really yuck now that they made everything so fresh!

I also discovered a new thing from the guys who worked here yesterday and today-wood putty! Snickers, our 'fat boy' doxie, the black and tan one, chewed off a corner of a window sill in his teething days. I thought the only way to fix it was replacing it-I mean it was a chunk. But the guy put a huge chunk of wood putty on the corner. molded it, packed it in well-let it dry for 24 hours, then filed/sandpapered it down to match the rest of the sill-freakin amazing! It looks perfect. Feels pretty sturdy too!! They specialize in sprucing homes up to sell-they were well worth the money and I would recommmend them.

Kat, your choices look good except for Liberty Tree. We ate there in November or should I say we tried to eat there. The food was awful-even the mashed potatoes were bad. It tasted like they were made with sour milk. None of our group took more than 1 bite. Maybe someone else had a different experience?

I went to my Dr's office today for post operative checkup and he said everything looks fine.

It has been thundering and lightening here for a bit. And it rained pretty hard for a bit but it's basically stopped now.

The lights just blinked...blah. I hope that's all they do. I'm quite partial to my electricity.

And that is the reason I'm kinda unsure about this one. We've never been before and planned on salads or sandwiches. We need to use up the TS credits and we've already done The Plaza and want to try something new....any suggestions, non buffet....?

My drive home from work was through some of the hardest rain I've driven through in years. I'm a nervous wreck, Kyle is driving in from Baton Rouge right now. He surprised Mariah last night with a promise ring.

And that is SO CUTE about the ring!

As for lunch in the MK, we have had a few good lunches at LTT, but no bad...but the most recent was like in 2005 or something. Your best bet may be to go to one of the MK resorts if you want good food. Eating in the MK is more for convenience because none of the TS meals there scream "FANTASTIC!"

I'm feeling okay. Its just going to take time to get my iron levels back to where they should be because I had become anemic. Sometimes I just get really tired. But as far as my procedure goes, I'm feeling back to normal.

And there's a possible lunch meet with Lorie...date TBD but it has to be a weekday before August 10th.

Yeah...I figured that's what it was. I hear them a lot over here, but after 4 years of "low flying planes MUST be terrorists about to crash again" it's a bit unnerving! Today they seemed louder than normal and you couldn't see them from all the clouds...and I could actually FEEL them.
