I spent part of Friday with Sheryl for lunch and we went to Lowe's and Rouse's, then Saturday I saw Serena and Kristina and Cara and Parrot Pete's, then today Cara and Serena and I went to Baskin Robbins and Hallmark!

I'm available pretty much the entire month....I think I will be making a quick trip up to NYC and I'm looking at going sometime around the 23rd. At least if I go up there, aside from the meeting it will be mostly a tourist trip.

Lori, Congrats on getting the house on the market!

The wedding was wonderful! My niece was so pretty! Everything just went perfectly. Southern Oaks knows how to throw a party! The food was good, the champagne flowed ( perhaps a bit too much for me! ) everyone had a blast! Then we had present opening & gumbo at my Uncle's house yesterday. The bride & groom are off to St Kitts this morning.

I'm sorry I didn't get to go yesterday. Both kids were off the wall clingy/cranky yesterday, so it's a good thing the big shindig was postponed because I would've either had to miss it or leave early anyway.

Did y'all see the coverage of the Running of the Bulls in the Quarter yesterday? I'm sure people elsewhere are wondering what is in the water down here to make us do such crazy stuff. It's just New Orleans- we're just not right in the head. DH is sorry he missed it again this year- he knows some of the rollergirls and probably would have gotten pummeled.

Cara- I think your plans look great! We're going to a lot of same places on our next trip- Columbia Harbor House is sentimental for us too. And DH is dying to try T-Rex (he says its for the kids, but I know better...) We love the POR food court too- the make your own pasta/salad/omelet stations are great! And they make great huge sundaes which are only a snack credit (unless that has changed).

We use our Disney Visa for our trips too and usually use either our tax refund or one of Todd's bonuses to pay it off (whichever comes first). I love those reward dollars!

Lori- I would love to try Teppan Edo! It looks like lots of fun! It is on my list of possibilities for our next trip also. Go for it!

DH says we are definitely going next May because he is finally (!) getting a decent bonus this quarter. Those took a nosedive with the bad economy, but are starting to pick up- yay! We're going to take a chuck of the bonus and put it to the side for the trip before the money all gets sucked away (y'all know how that goes! ).

WooHoo to planning another trip! I am glad to hear that the things are starting to look up.

The NOLA running of the bulls is hilarious. I know one rollergirl and she was really into it this year.

Kara- I think it sounds great! We are doing places we have never done before too-with exception of Sci-Fi. I understand about debt. I DO have this on my Disney card, but vacation savings are piling up and I will have about $200 disney reward points by the time we go. We put everything on it and pay it off every month. Sometimes we have a bad month and don't pay it off, but somehow, God willing, we have been able to catch up pretty quickly. I paid the $600 for airfare out of vacation savings.

I have one mpore to book and still haven't done it-my friends think I am crazy b/c I am always telling them just to book something and they can change it later-I just have NO idea where I wanna go!! I wish Rainforest or T-rex was on DDP-b/c then it would be easy for us.

So I have 1 more TS to book- I am thinking Teppan Edo, b/c my kids LOVE Osaka here, but we didn't plan on another park day-but I may have to suck it up and do it.

We ate at Teppan Edo back when we were engaged. Our experience was similiar to your previous trip to Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater. The food was fine but our chef was a downer. Everyone else in the place on the other hand was having a blast with outgoing chefs. Not sure if he was just having a bad day, or not a people person. We DID consider going back but my DH is insisting on eating in Morocco. I don't have high hopes for that meal.

I wish that T-Rex was on the dining plan too, we decided to go ahead and pay out-of-pocket for that one. Have you been through all the different resorts? I really wanted to explore the Poly which is the reason for Ohana.

YAY!!!! I am glad you all have a time to look forward too.

My home is officially FOR sale-if I could post the link I would- I know you all aren't going to buy it, but just to show you. I am not sure of the Dis rules on that. I just know you cannot sell anything directly. I have the post on FB if you DO know of anyone looking. Funny thing- selling our home is really giving me some more Disney points on my card-so far, about $12 extra-not a lot- but then it IS free money!

Mary: I will have to try the tuna. I actually haven't been to Columbia Harbour House since my first trip to Disney with my parents. I could always remember it and my mother couldn't remember what I was talking about. We sat upstairs and had a great view over Fantasyland. I finally figured out that is was Columbia Harbour House a few weeks ago so I am super excited to go back.

Cara, My surgery is Wednesday.

Lorie, Angelina & Josh did the running of the bulls! It's there 2nd year, they love it. I was more than a little stressed out worrying about it. Worried about what the family was going to think of her, showing up at Windsor Court dressed like that & stinking of sweat & sangria! The other girls knew but my Aunt & Cousin didn't even notice it. Whew.

Good Morning.

I've been having some computer problems lately. I know it has to do with Internet Explorer 8 that's installed on my computer but it won't let me uninstall it. Some days it works fine and others it acts all crazy. I'm afraid that one morning I'll try to sign on and I won't be able to. Mark's been looking at getting a second computer (a lap top) so we'll have a spare. The kids really do use the computer a lot for school so we can't be without one.

Yesterday I actually started buying school supplies. August 7th will be here before I know it. I'm about half way through with Kendall and Colin. I was at Target yesterday and I guess next week I'll finish up with them at Walmart. They at least get school supply lists. Kelsie (high school) is pretty much on her own. Some teachers wan't certain things while others don't but she won't find out what they require until school starts.

Johnny & I ran into an old friend we hadn't seen in ages this past weekend. He buys, renovates and sells houses as a side business. We asked for his opinion on things we should do to get M&D's house ready to rent and he has now decided he wants to buy it!
