Tricia, this is from pages back, but the water was perfect. It was not too cold at all. It was great for getting wet then coming back to my chair and letting the sun warm me up! We stayed in the water a good bit-it was comfortable to stay and play in the waves.

I was offered a contract job today. I am pretty sure i will be doing it. This could possibly replace my other job eventually-it is a guy with a machine who is starting his own contract ultrasound business. We'll see! I am kinda excited about it and it actually makes me wanna keep up my license(registry).

Nothing else on Paul-what is new, go figure. But we are still on our high(semi) from our vacation. We were there with people who live there and very few vacationers- it makes you think about how you wanna retire!!

Anyway, school is out for us and we are on a wing and a prayer still.
It is getting old, but soon as it all works out, we will be missing our time, I know it.

Hope ya'll are doing fine. Glad surgery went well for Courtney, Sheryl.

I am working more and not much time on here as I would like. We do not have internet access at work.

Good morning NOLA.

I am intentionally trying to be a bit scarce on the boards for now so I can get some very important things done. You know, like applying for a place to live and packing and all that jazz.

I finished the apartment application last night. I am planning to go to the post office today after work to get the money order and to mail it out. I am praying it's approved (no reason it shouldn't be) and also there are vacancies in a 1 bedroom (that may be more of an issue).

I am feeling pretty darn good today! I know the anesthesia hasn't worn off & the steroids have kicked in yet but I'll take anyday that I feel good!

Bethany, It's okay to be scarce for a little while. We will just have to buck up & deal with it! I know you have so much to get done & wish you good luck in getting it done. I forgot to tell you Angelina has had friends that lived in both of the complexes you mentioned. She said the Disney-like one is very nice, but the other one was also good!

Julie & my cajun friend, So sad y'all won't be able to make it this weekend! I was looking forward to seeing CM again! Really was hoping to finally get to meet Julie too! Darn.

I sure hope everyone else can make it! Lorie I'm excited about seeing y'all again!

Alexis has school field day today. Rickie took off & is out there now. I'm feeling good enough to bring a chair & go out there for a little while. I'll watch the games for a bit & bring a lunch to have a picnic lunch with my girl!

Sheryl I'm glad you are feeling better. Don't forget the sunscreen because it's going to be a hot one. Kendall has field day tomorrow and it's all to happy that she'll be missing it. The rehearsal for the wedding is tomorrow at 5:00 and she doesn't get home from school until 4:00. No way can we make it across the lake and all prettied up so she's staying home from school and we're going to get our nails done.

I'm home. Luckily because it is raining, hailing, lightening up a storm! Oh that's sort of funny! Of course DH will be annoyed if the power doesn't go out. We still haven't had a real test run of the generator.

It was warm out there, but cloudy. The kids had fun but pooped out early & they shut down about an hour early. I was able to have lunch with her & meet ALL of her "BEST FRIENDS"!

Tricia, You girls have fun getting all prettied up & I know y'all will have fun at the wedding!

Hey y'all!

I'm having a hard time keeping up with this thread! I have to read back and catch up...

I'm going to be a little scarce too I think- I've been so busy lately. I've been in a getting-ready-for-baby frenzy. Between the new closet, getting everything ready for the baby, and just doing my regular household work and taking care of DD, I'm running in circles!

I had another dr appt today and she said she is not moving the c-section date up- still on for June 3rd. Even though I'm still measuring big (38 weeks today), she said I show no signs of going into early labor and no signs of physical distress. My blood pressure is very low, I'm not swollen at all (I can still wear my wedding ring) and my weight gain is good, so she sees no reason to take him early- he'll just be big! It's not like I'll have to push him out the old fashioned way. I still have an ultrasound scheduled on Tuesday to check his weight anyway and to see if there is any other physical reason why I might be measuring so big. So I get to see him one more time before his birthday!

I'm still on for our meet! Dh actually said he wanted to come too (I think he is getting nervous about me running around by myself these days), but chances are slim that he'll be able to make it because it is a Saturday (too hard to get off of work). Looks like DD will accompanying me- I apologize in advance!

Well I wouldn't apologize if she were an angel all of the time- she's not! Some outings she's fine, others...not so much. Mostly it is acting out for attention, because if there is one thing she LOVES, it's attention! But sometimes she is good as gold- I just never know until we get there!

Especially that we are going to get to see you & meet that cute daughter of your's (& maybe even Todd too!)

On another note, I'm a little irritated...I just got off the phone with a friend, and she asked if we had made a decision on the baby's name yet. I told her about the different middle names that we haven't yet decided on, and mentioned Erik Treme being a possibility. She totally started making fun of Treme... . Said why I don't just use Mid-City, or Uptown, or better yet, Central City- hahaha. She said Marigny was cute, but it should just stop there with Sienna. Well, my feelings are a little hurt now. This is the reason I was hesitant to use that name- I don't want him being made fun of. Ugh, vent over.

I'm catching up whilst on the bus. (yes, I just wanted to use the word "whilst" for the heck of it! )

What a day. OMG. The kids were so obnoxious today and it was not just my class. It was like the whole school. It was just one of those days. Tomorrow is a fresh start and Monday we go to Chevy's on a field trip.

I want to check flights for tomorrow night! I sooo wish I could be there and meet all of you.

Tonight is going to be more of the Fun With Paperwork game that I should be so good at by now. Later!
