So I admit I didn't know much about FP+ and booked all mine without checking DIS first :scared1:

Most of my FP+ are booked later in the day, after lunch. I did not realize you can reset new ones after using it, and since we are not a rope drop family I figured later passes was better...ooops.

I am okay with the majority, with the age/height gaps in our group we booked one big kid, one little kid and one family ride each day anyhow. The ones that everyone really wanted are set, so we can handle stand by or skip the others.

The one I'm worried about is the 7DMT. I was fine skipping a few of the bigger rides to hang with my littlest, or grabbing a baby swap and going later. What I realize is that our FP+ for the mine train is from 7-8pm. We also have one for the Wishes show at 8:40pm (I know this is a 'waste' in some eyes, but it is our family FP for that day, so it works for us). This is one ride I really want to try. As does everyone else out there apparently since I have no other time options left to switch that one.

Will I have time for DH to take the big kids one round, than go right after using a swap pass, and still make it to the Wishes spot on time? Or do I tell my hubby that he's missing out on this ride so I can go? Obviously I will keep an eye out even the day of for an opening.

You should have plenty of time, your fast pass is between 7 and 8. You can arrive as early as 7 and as late as 8, it won't take 1 hour to get through the fast pass line and ride the ride, nor does it take 40 minutes to get from 7DMT to get to the spot for the parade.

You will have plenty of time. We rode it twice with rider swap last month and both times it took maybe 30 minutes total for my husband to ride with our daughter, come find me, and for me to ride with her. You should be fine.

If you've never done Wishes FP, when you enter the area go to the left. It gives you the best view of the castle. You'll want that to see Celebrate the Magic. On the right side there is a tree that blocks the view.
