Merrytime cruise

First MerryTime this year. Dec 3rd. cruise on Fantasy. Did the Halloween last year and though the theme was ideal!

We did Disney World Magic Kingdom Xmas day a couple of years ago. We wanted the kids to have the Christmas Day experience at home, so when we visited Santa at the mall, we explained to hime would be flying on Dec 24th and in Disney on Dec 25th. Could we please arrange for an early delivery? Santa said he would work his magic and fire up Rudolf a couple days early. The kids had a letter ready thanking Santa and the Elves for pushing up their deadline on our behalf. So, we opened on Dec 23rd. It was weird for us adults, but the kids had no problem adjusting!

That's a clever idea! When kiddo was young, we just pretended it was Christmas a few days earlier (he wasn't so good at calendars then) and told him that because of the time change the place we were visiting was celebrating Christmas later.

First post! So excited to see this thread! We're booked on the Fantasy for Dec. 24th to 31st this year and we have no idea what to expect. This is our first Disney Cruise. I'm traveling with my husband and our 5-year-old son. Looking forward to Christmas morning on the boat!

First Merrytime Cruise here and I. Cannot. Wait! Been wanting to do disney christmas forever and it's finally happening. In response to your other question, we went on Carnival last year (first week of December) and their cruise was also christmas themed. It was great! There was a huge tree in the atrium and they had a tree lighting ceremony complete with Christmas carols and fake snow! DD7 also practiced all week at the kids club for the holiday themed show. Carnival has Dr Seuss for their kids stuff so we got to take pictures with the grinch. it was hard to completely escape Christmas in the Caribbean. One of our ports of call was Aruba and their were several Christmas trees in the port. So excited to see the tree and decorations at castaway cay!

We are going on our first Christmas cruise on Dec 23. I have all my door décor ready, Deck the deck party shirts ready, stockings for presents in our stateroom, the works. I am also happy that we were notified there will be a Midnight Mass for those who observe and a religious service on Christmas Day. It is just the two of us. I will be happy to share any info after the cruise. We are very excited to experience Christmas Eve and Day on the Magic.
Our first time in Miami too at the Conrad Hilton were the buses come for us.
