Hi

Did anyone watch Merlin on NBC last night??

I thought it was interesting and plan on giving it another try.

DVR'd both episodes and DARN didn't know that the Open ran late. Missed the last 10 minutes of the 2nd episode.

Can anyone tell me how it ended?

Thanks

Have a Magical Disney Day!!

My family liked it and we plan on watching it. :goodvibes

Spoiler

Merlin worked on a spell all night long that would make everyone able to see the snakes. The bad knight and Arthur were on the battlefield and the bad knight when exposed, sent the remaining two snakes (Merlin had killed one of the others to come up with an antidote and for proof of what the bad knight was doing, earlier in the show) after Arthur, who killed both snakes and then fought and killed the bad knight. Oh! Morgana (was that her name?) tossed Arthur a sword bc he had no weapon in which to fight the snakes. They where together at the celebration at the castle and Arthur refused to acknowledge her for helping him and she walked away from him in anger. Merlin did not get any recognition as usual, however he was rehired as the prince's servant and was given a long list of chores to do. The next episode looks good too.

The DDs and I watched it last night and enjoyed it. Hopefully it stays around for awhile. :wizard:

I took a chance and watched it and I liked it. I'll try to watch it again but usually shows like this seem to get canceled quickly.

It was ok. A "C" or "B-" at best. Not great, but not terrible. We'll watch a little more, I guess.

This is a BBC series. All 13 episodes of the first series were made and shown on BBC. There is likely not much that NBC has available to show instead that would make it worthwhile not showing all 13 episodes here as well.

Beyond that, the BBC is at work on another series of the program.

There is something about this show that is making come back for more.....hmmmmmm

Good show for my family to watch, even though dd makes me tell her when the scary parts are over!

I'm liking the show.

Not sure if it would be one that I watched during the "regular" season, but it is keeping me entertained during the summer!
