Mentally Preparing: A Focker, A Croc & Waldo hit POFQ! Trip Report Link is UP!

Sorry Tracy, no time to do the quotes thing - I'm sneaking in a little DISing here at work and the boss is around somewhere! Anway, just wanted to say happy 21 days!!!!!!!

Love your son's Tony Hawk shirt! Are the kids excited about the trip coming up so soon?

Wow, Waldo did an excellent job with the military packing. Ask him if he wants to come over my house and pack for me.;)

Quick question for you, the Athens Crocs are unisex so I'm worried about them being too wide. My DSis tends to have a narrow foot so do you think they'd be ok? Shoebuy ran out of my size but they have them for her. What do you think about the Cretes? Inquiring minds wanna know!

Yippee! A good update!

Do I spot a Thomas the Tank Engine train holder in the background of the first photo? We had the same one (from Target) and we sold it at our garage sale this past June for $2.

Regarding the swim diapers... Do you have Evan wear them in your pool? Just wondering as this is what is up with Brooke. She is not totally potty trained but we didn't even bother with the swim diapers. She never had an accident in the pool nor did we even think she would. Her pooping is one of those private things so being in a private pool there is no way she would do that. I'm just mentioning this as you could save yourself a ton of room in your suitcases and some cash. But every kid is different...

The suitcases that Waldo packed look great! I saw the pic before I read that he actually did it and I was impressed with how neat it was! :thumbsup2

How did that happen? Anyway, :bday: to Evan tomorrow, three is not the same as two as they tend to articulate more before having a fit (they also run faster, so watch out). Of course, I have twins and they tended to run in two different directions. :rotfl:

Birthday :thumbsup2
packed (almost) :thumbsup2
Target on the horizon :thumbsup2
Another family member buying DVC before you? :headache:
Waldo and water: :rolleyes1

So if you have 21 days to go, I must have 23

I have started my packing list in my head, the problem is I now need to pack certain things for our stay at SSR that I never had to before like good, :coffee:

My big news is, I now have a LGMHPC, The big question is, what to do for the window? BTW, my DH thinks I'm   Stopped in Michael's craft shop with DH (no choice as he was driving), said I had to get things to decorate our window at SSR. What does he say, "What if our window doesn't face anything, and no one can see it? :confused3 Men, can't live with them, can't ki** them either. ;) Didn't stop me from buying stuff though, now, just need to think about putting it together. :scared:

Can Waldo come to my house and pack for us:cool1:

We leave in 14 days (2 weeks from today baby). He can fly in next weekend, pack eveything up, and I can send him home on Sunday. I promise to even sew one of the If lost tags in his shirt so he makes it back to CA.:lmao:

Great update, and congrats on the TWENTY ONE DAYS!!!!!!!

Sorry about the DSiL and the DVC....I have one-upper in my family, too. I have learned to keep my mouth shut, but only after she decided to go out and buy the same dishes I have (only more of them), the same car as her SiL (only the mac-daddy version), and DVC after I was talking about it (only she bought TWO). :headache: Yuppers, learned to keep the ol' trap shut.

Lovin' Waldo, as usual!

/
And pre-TR? From me? Well, seeing as how I don't start packing until a day or two before hand, if I do one it won't be until much later.....I know, shame on me.
Hey that's me you're describing and I did a pre TR, go on you know you want too and we want you to too :thumbsup2

If they buy DVC, then I'm buying DVC. They can't have DVC before me! :headache: Whatevah!
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Some photos of Evan's birthday party.
awww sweet :cutie:

Well looky here, we learned something from Waldo. Could he be turning morphing into Super Waldo, Saver of Suitcase Space?!? :cool1:
:woohoo: I'm thinking of trying the roll and pack way this time :thumbsup2

What other color crocs could I wear say if I were wearing jean shorts and a white tank top? Could I wear Lime crocs? No. Could I wear brown crocs? No. (well, yes, but he doesn't need to know that) Could I wear black crocs? No. So, can we agree that I will need to take my blue crocs? Yes. So there. I could justify every pair if I needed to, but he accepted that I would be taking all 8 pairs and we moved on.
OMG :rotfl2:

AND NOW IT'S TIME FOR LIFE WITH WALDO:
But life would be so boring without his eccentricities (sp?) wouldn't it :rotfl2:

Exactly! You were not first! I was ... so THERE! :lmao: I'm usually never first so I didn't want anyone claiming my #1 status!
Errrrr DM go have a look who was first :rolleyes1

I checked the calendar this morning....
21 NON-FUZZY DAYS!!!!!
WOOOO HOOOO!!!!! Can you almost taste the Lapus? OH, and I bet they sell Hurricanes at POFQ! :thumbsup2

They just give me the "whatever" look whenever I start going on about it and how much I want DVC. They called us on Saturday and told us how much they love the SSR and are considering purchasing DVC. Boy, did I light a match under Andy's behind. If they buy DVC, then I'm buying DVC. They can't have DVC before me! :headache:
Exactly! C'mon Andy, DVC, DVC, DVC, DVC!!!! (FYI, they've got some awfully good incentives going now, I hear.... double developer points, per-point discounts...;) )

Some photos of Evan's birthday party.

He looks so happy! :goodvibes

If you recall, Andy's clothes weren't fitting in his luggage. So I mentioned this to Waldo and goes marching up to my room all shows me how to pack Andy military style. Holy cow, it worked. I rolled up everything nice and tight and everything fit, with room to spare! Well looky here, we learned something from Waldo. Could he be turning morphing into Super Waldo, Saver of Suitcase Space?!? :cool1:
Show of hands, who wants to see a video of Waldo teching us a better packing method? Me, me!! ::yes::

I could justify every pair if I needed to, but he accepted that I would be taking all 8 pairs and we moved on.
Fuzzy Disney Shoe Logic?

1. Waldo subscibes to Netflix, right? So he watches the movie and puts it on the shelf and leaves it there for 4 days. Yesterday he asks me why haven't I sent HIS movie back. WHT? I didn't watch it, so why would it be my responsibility to send it back? He tells me that it's everyones responsibility to send the movies back. So I ask him, "So why didn't you send your movie back?" He gives me the  look.
:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Great Update///Where's Waldo He's Packing every DISers Bags we will send him Directly to POFQ & you can pick him up there!!! of course there will be No water Left anywhere that he goes...But for a good {Packing Job we can handle it ...Right DIS....come support Me ...We need Waldo...We Need Waldo!!!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

:rolleyes1

Sooo...ummmm...where are all the pictures of Carlos???

Just sayin'! ;)

And your little one looks so happy on his bert-day!

21 days??? :faint: Do you have the Disney itch yet??? You know...the one where your hands perpetually wring each other until you touch down at the airport??

Quick question for you, the Athens Crocs are unisex so I'm worried about them being too wide. My DSis tends to have a narrow foot so do you think they'd be ok? Shoebuy ran out of my size but they have them for her. What do you think about the Cretes? Inquiring minds wanna know!

I bough myself a pair of the Athens Crocs for my NYC mini-trip, but they were too wide for me. DH wears them and loves them... I wear a women's size 10, but my feet are narrow, FWIW.

Tracy, I've been gone, as you know, so I just got caught up! I forgot to multi-quote, so:

I can't believe poor Donald and the nephews! I loved the poison ivy story, though... :rolleyes1

I love your hair, but would take a few inches off if you have the itch. My hair has been shoulder blade length for quite a while, but I had about 4 inches cut off before our recent driving trip. I can still do a pony (not braids, though, I don't think) and it felt SO good to be a little lighter. I will likely not trim up for a while now, though, and let it get longer again for the fall/winter months.

I love your room! Our "formal" living room and downstairs hallway are a color called "Cookie Crumb" and I think it's just a touch darker (also from Home Depot). :) D. wants to repaint our bedroom, too. It has a chair rail (in a bedroom? whatevah...) and it's hugenormous. So, we painted the top portion a tobacco-y red and the bottom originally a pumpkin pie color (and I feel your pain on that). It was lemon yellow when we moved in, and just looked sterile and looming... We redid the bottom to a cream two years ago, but now think the whole thing now could do with a warm, but lighter, color.

We ALWAYS roll our packing! Way to go, Waldo. I was with LL and first thought you meant that Andy had gotten bigger (or smaller) and it was him they didn't fit, but I figured it out, finally. ;)

Lastly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Evan! He looks so happy!

Can't wait for more! Just 21 days! :yay:

Love your son's Tony Hawk shirt! Are the kids excited about the trip coming up so soon?
You know it! They've got their "must-ride lists" all ready. :goodvibes

I love the look of the Cretes. But I don't think they have the same sole as the Athens. They might be a little less cushiony, KWIM?

Do I spot a Thomas the Tank Engine train holder in the background of the first photo? We had the same one (from Target) and we sold it at our garage sale this past June for $2.

Actually, we found the Thomas holder at Kohl's. It's really useless for us, since we have the wooden Thomas sets. I just put it out there on the food table as decoration. :confused3

Evan wears a swim diaper in our pool. He's never pooped in the pool, as he's like Brooke and totally hides to do that! I'm still on the fence about it, though. Thanks for your input. ;)

How did that happen? Anyway, :bday: to Evan tomorrow, three is not the same as two as they tend to articulate more before having a fit.
Three is worse than 2, in my opinion. He's getting to smart and it's getting harder and harder to pull fast ones with him. :sad2:

So if you have 21 days to go, I must have 23
Hey! I forgot to ask if you were joining us on our DIS Meet on the 25th?

We leave in 14 days (2 weeks from today baby). He can fly in next weekend, pack eveything up, and I can send him home on Sunday. I promise to even sew one of the If lost tags in his shirt so he makes it back to CA.
:lmao: You should see his suitcase. It's not even a suitcase. It's one of those garment bag type things. He's got 10 days worth of clothes and all his stuff. I keep calling him "Felix", you know the black Cat with a yellow bag full o'crap? :rotfl2:

Sorry about the DSiL and the DVC....I have one-upper in my family, too. I have learned to keep my mouth shut, but only after she decided to go out and buy the same dishes I have (only more of them), the same car as her SiL (only the mac-daddy version), and DVC after I was talking about it (only she bought TWO). Dude! What's up with that? :headache:

I'm thinking of trying the roll and pack way this time :thumbsup2
Do it, Jo. You're bags will be rockin' like mine! :woohoo:
But life would be so boring without his eccentricities (sp?) wouldn't it
No doubt! :rotfl2:
Errrrr DM go have a look who was first :rolleyes1
Bwahahahahahahaha!!! Good catch, Jo! :rotfl2:
WOOOO HOOOO!!!!! Can you almost taste the Lapus? OH, and I bet they sell Hurricanes at POFQ!
Oh yeah, baybee! I checked out the pool bar and Scat Cats and they both sell Hurricanes!!! :cool1:

Exactly! C'mon Andy, DVC, DVC, DVC, DVC!!!! (FYI, they've got some awfully good incentives going now, I hear.... double developer points, per-point discounts...;) )
I KNOW!!! I got an email from our DVC rep here. We'll just have to see. :rolleyes1
Fuzzy Disney Shoe Logic?
::yes:: You know, I really love the way you think!

Great Update///Where's Waldo He's Packing every DISers Bags we will send him Directly to POFQ & you can pick him up there!!! of course there will be No water Left anywhere that he goes...But for a good {Packing Job we can handle it ...Right DIS....come support Me ...We need Waldo...We Need Waldo!!!!!
:rotfl2: You are hilarious!

Sooo...ummmm...where are all the pictures of Carlos???
Just sayin'! ;)
I'll make him model his CROCs as soon as they come in! Of course I'll have to use my super sleuth photo skillz. :smooth:

Do you have the Disney itch yet???
:scared: No, but I hope have an ointment for it. :lmao:

We ALWAYS roll our packing! Way to go, Waldo. I was with LL and first thought you meant that Andy had gotten bigger (or smaller) and it was him they didn't fit, but I figured it out, finally. ;)
Really? I've never done the roll packing, but I think we have a winner! I may never go back! :thumbsup2
Lastly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Evan! He looks so happy!
Thanks, CE! He loved everyone singing to him! ;)

Oh yeah! I forgot to tell Evan Happy Birthday....Tomorrow...oh yeah thats right I can tell Him tomorrow...Never Mind ...Forget you read the Previous Statement ....I will wish him Happy Birthday Tomorrow :rolleyes1

:cool2:

Actually, we found the Thomas holder at Kohl's. It's really useless for us, since we have the wooden Thomas sets. I just put it out there on the food table as decoration. :confused3
Exactly! We have almost all of the wooden Thomas trains and Alec just liked to carry around that plastic carrier. We didn't mind selling in our garage sale one bit. However, we will save the wooden trains for (*gasp) grandkids someday as I think they are timeless.
