Mentally Preparing: A Focker, A Croc & Waldo hit POFQ! Trip Report Link is UP!

Well its 12:30 am and I have to go to work tomorrow but I accomplished my goal tonight....I used your handy dandy contents and read thru each chapter. I have to go back another day and read all the funny chit chat between the posts! :rotfl: Awesome trippie...sorry I wasnt there at the beginning. Your children are adorable and I am sure this trip will be awesome! Cant wait to hear more! :thumbsup2

PS I didnt know scrunchies were out. Luckily I cut all my hair off and don't need them anymore. :confused3

Fun, Fun an update from DLMamma! I was just poking at my inbox as I wait for my Baklava to finish baking. Seems I had a bit of an out of body and decided to attempt this tasting treat tonight...at 9PM:eek: . So what to my eyes should appear, but a update from the plamner extrodinare! Great job on the veggies. I have never grown a garden and don't think I could, as I have no green thumbs...(but a loy of lime green fingers;) and if I attmeped one, I am sure the rabbits would gobble it up.

Your kiddos are cute, as always. I am glad you had a great holiday relaxing weekend. I do understand the strength it takes to hold your Disney talk back... At least we have an outlet, here on the DIS. Good luck getting a better cruise time or moving your ressie. I know you will be able to make it happen! Spoodles is a great alternative!

Those veggies look great! Glad you got them planting with you!

I saw your post the other day at like 730am or so my time and said WTH is Tracy doing at that time......then I remember the cruise. I didnt have time to post that I was sorry you didnt get it but maybe better luck trying again
THEN I come back to see
YOU GOT IT!!!!!!!WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!
I am so happy for you guys.

We're pushing the 80 day mark.... well, in about 5 days. But who's counting, right?
:rotfl2:
But.... I refrained from busting out with WDW facts and travel jumble, only because I don't want to kill them with my endless details. I'll save that for my DIS friends, eh? :lmao:
You know we LOVE to hear it, keep it comin'
but I've haven't booked anything or gotten quotes from any companies. I've got to work on that, pronto! :thumbsup2
Ok so I guess you dont want to hear that we are having DS4 b-day party in 2 weeks and I havent secured the Bounce Houses, tent, tables, chairs and all the other party stuff yet:scared1: BUT I do have the ninja turtle paper products for the kiddies!!
Beyond them in the photo is our HUGE tomato plant. It's got about 20 beef steak tomatoes on it. They're all still green, but soon they'll be just yummy with some buffalo mozzerella and fresh basil from the herb garden The Enabler is growing! :goodvibes
The kids are so cute and the garden looks great. We love to plant veggies here, and love to eat them to...Oh I love fresh warm mozzarella with roasted peppers and basil....yum yum yum....I think I am off to the market..

Cant wait for the bargain shopping!!:goodvibes

Love the little vegetable garden!!! Maybe someday I will be ambitious enought to try that!!! They look so proud of thier good work!!!

Hope all the switchie roos work out for ya...which I am sure they will...after all you always have a plan!!!!

We're going to try for a 10 passenger and then Daisy's dad will follow in his van with all the luggage. Strange, I know. :rolleyes1
Nope - makes perfect sense to me! Are you doing ME from MCO?

LL Pm'd me with all the golf information. Her DH Tony, Jo's DH David, Waldo and my DH Andy are golfing on the morning of the 25th at 9am ish. Thank God, LL gave me all the hairy details. Waldo was driving me up a wall with his questions.
I know we'll have a great time at the pool, but boy do I wish we could have a video link to your guys on the golf course! I just know that's gonna be a hoot :rotfl:

Ok, one last little thing. If you may recall, Maddie and Evan and I planted a veggie garden this spring, right? Well, I wanted to share with you the fruits..errr veggies of our labor:

garden002.jpg

Maddie is holding a beautiful bunch of carrots and Evan's got a bell pepper in his hands. We also picked some green peas and the string beans should be ready in a few weeks. Beyond them in the photo is our HUGE tomato plant. It's got about 20 beef steak tomatoes on it. They're all still green, but soon they'll be just yummy with some buffalo mozzerella and fresh basil from the herb garden The Enabler is growing! :goodvibes
Tracy, I'm soooo jealous! I sure do miss veggies fresh from the garden. Yummmy!

I'm a little concerned because we have an ADR at Rose & Crown at 6:20 on the IROE cruise night. We have to check in at the Yacht Club at 8:00 pm.

Plenty time!! Most people will book R&C for 7.30ish to be there for when Illuminations go off so I reckon it shouldn't be that busy at 6.20 - especially if you check in 10 mins early. You'll probably be done by 7.30 and the Yacht Club is 5 minutes away. You couldn't be closer!!!!!

If you may recall, Maddie and Evan and I planted a veggie garden this spring, right? Well, I wanted to share with you the fruits..errr veggies of our labor:

Oh wow! I am beyond impressed. I was 'chatting' to TE Minnie on Jo's thread about the same thing yesterday. I'd love to have a little veggie patch in our garden. Although I'm guessing the Californian climate differs somewhat from the Irish one. WELL DONE!!! Those veggies look fabulous!!!

UP NEXT: MORE SHOPPING BARGAINS WITH TRACY!

I am totally catching up with this thread today. I figure I should stop and reply to all the things I multi-quoted every once in a while though so I don't end up with a post that is too big.

Hi :welcome: Kat! This is the reason why I have 47 pages!!! Something always gets us started on some obscure OT subject!!! Right now we're exchanging tequila stories on S'lates TR!! :rotfl2:

Ooooh, I have a tequila story but I just can't add another thread to catch up on this close to my trip!

And here I was - although a bit late - getting ready to pipe in with you's... but I never used "pop" it was always "soda"...BUT I order a Jack & Coke...

And not for nothin', but I got laughed out of my WW meeting for admitting I drink milk & pepsi...:sad2:

I prefer Jack & Cherry Coke and I don't think anything is wrong with milk & Pepsi. It just tastes like a Pepsi float.

JO!!!! Did you miss the whole "We're not getting free dining" fiasco??? Are you smoking funny tea leaves over there?? :lmao: Since we didn't get free dining, we'll have to pay for it, silly!

But, yes, I did see the snack thread and I've got it all spreadsheeted out (is that a word?? V??) by park. :thumbsup2

Where is this so-called snack thread? I would have you send me the spreadsheet but our computer's software is very lame since I refused to let DH give Dell even more money for anything but the basic free stuff. They love doubling your original quote.

More later.... I've got to go to my nephews baseball game now. From the words of Miss McGee, if you can't be an athlete, be and athletic supporter!! :scared1:

:rotfl2:

I think I already mentioned talking to Waldo about DVC... but I didn't mention this part. So, I admit in total secrecy that I don't think DVC is for us. Only because the cost of airfare is ridiculous from LAX to MCO. Yearly WDW vacations may or may not be in the cards for us, so I silently put my DVC wishes on the back burner for now. Now, Waldo doesn't know about my super sleuth trip with The Enabler next May. So we're having a conversation about how we've spent enough money from last years trip and this year trip, that we could be proud owners of at least 150 DVC points. :sad2: I tell Waldo about our Super 40th Birthday Cruise/10 day WDW vacation planned for Aug/Sept. 2009. And he says something that actually made me sad and made me really think.... He said he hopes that he's around to go with us. Now that sentence really hit my heart hard. I got a big lump in my throat and my eyes welled up. I never, ever think about the day that my parents are no longer with me. I'm always making plans for the future, vacation plans, that is. I've got a European vacation (DLRP included, of course)planned with my parents for my 40th, which is thankfully not for 5 more years. What I didn't realise, is that in 5 years, my parents will be 77 and 78 years old. Alot can happen in those 5 years, as my parents age. It made me sad to think that, yes someday, we will go to WDW and Waldo won't be there. Who will we go in search of? Who will throw us off schedule and wreck havoc on the poor WDW CM's who don't realise they must speak in a louder tone so Waldo can hear them? :sad1: And so, I am happy that Waldo is going with us to WDW. I am happy that my children can sit on his lap and enjoy the sights and sounds of IASW. I am happy that we will be able to get frustrated when we lose Waldo and laugh when we find him. Truth be told. I am happy that we are going to experience these 10 days of magic together, as a family, even if it kills us and causes us to not speak to one another for 6 months after we return. Because, who knows when it will ever happen again?

Don't make me cry in the middle of a happy PTR. DH's dad passed away just before we got pregnant with DS. I still cry when I think of how our kids missed getting to meet him. He was a really great guy and made my MIL so much easier to bear. DH's niece and nephews all got to go to WDW with him before he passed. He even took a special trip after learning of his Leukemia and spent one day with each of them one on one at MK. I wish we could afford to take my dad with us but I'm not sure he would even go if we could. Maybe in a few years we could but we would have to rent a scooter since his knees couldn't take all that walking.

Oh...Tracy...that made me tear up a little!

I'm still not taking my mother with me though!

We would never take either of our mothers! I wouldn't go if one of them tried to make plans to even be there at the same time!!!! :scared1:

Tracy those veggies are marvelous do you have quick growing plants over there as it only seems about 3 weeks you told us you planted them :rotfl2:

V I agree I would love to hear what the men get up to, how much moaning about the DIS boards do you think there'll be? :lmao:

Wait, it's a man! If this is the same person, which I'm pretty sure it is, there's a website about him here: http://www.tattooblog.org/entry/catman-the-tattooed-stalking-cat/

:scared1:

Love the card from Maddie so sweet our Mothers day was in March :confused3 When Ellie was in Kindergarten her class did a little show for the parents and they each had to stand up and say why they loved their Mummies so you got the because she gives nice cuddles, sweeties, smiles etc well Ellie said because she goes to the gym and does situps :confused3 :lmao: Wouldn't be too bad except I don't :rotfl2:

DD wrote on both the Mother's Day project and the Father's Day project (her teacher was a bit anal and had them do Father's Day stuff to keep for this summer) that both of our favorite foods was potatoes. I can only guess this was because I'm always telling her how good the potatoes are (au gratin, mashed, baked) when we eat them just trying to get her to eat them but we don't even have them once a month. :rotfl:

Hi, Tracy. Y'all are mega-posters over here!! It took a while to catch up after my return last weekend from the magic! I just had to tell you that DD treated me to my first lapu last week. :cheer2: They were great. When the kids were small we went to the beach one year and our condos were next to a fancy motel where they had a pool bar. While walking around one day DD saw ladies with fancy drinks with fruit garnishes and parasols and decided that when she was grown up that was what she wanted! Her idea of the lap of luxury as a grown-up from the perspective or an 8 or 9 year old! So shed said the lapus were the fulfillment of her fantasy! How fun is that? :dance3:

That is so sweet that your DD fulfilled her fantasy with you. Um, I think I should have said dream because children shouldn't grow up and fulfill their fantasies with their parents. IMHO :rotfl:

And of course, here's where Waldo spent his afternoon! :rotfl:
knotts002.jpg

Priceless! The frame sounds even better. You guys are going to enjoy that picture for years to come. The question mark just adds so much to the enjoyment value.

Once, back in the dark ages, DD's loose tooth came out while she was eating supper and she swallowed it! She was so upset when she realized it was out! I suggested maybe it fell on the floor instead, and she got under the table and looked around long enough for me to run back to my bedroom and dig in the drawer where the tooth fairy dropped redeemed teeth. Then I magically "found" it on the floor. Sweet thing never realized that it was an incisor and she had lost an eye tooth! :lmao: When I moved from that house when the kids were teenagers, I had to clear out (and finally throw away) a whole box of baby teeth! :rotfl2: (Sorry goofyluver, I just had to tell the story!)

I gotta remember that in case one gets swallowed around here. I keep them all too just in case I want to keep them later and would regret throwing them away. When DS lost his first one he also lost him mind. DH yanked it out... when I say yanked I really been gently tried to get hold of it and it came out because it wasn't attached to anything. It was a bottom tooth and was just sitting in the gums at that point because DS was afraid to take it out. Well, DS stood there waiting and DH is holding it down below eyesight and says, "Did that hurt?" DS says, "No." Then DH showed him the tooth and he flippin' went nuts screaming, yelling, holding his mouth and jumping up and down. He looks at me for sympathy and I'm just ticked off that I didn't have my video camera out.

I also hit the travel size toiletries section again. What is the matter with me? I'm obsessed with travel size crap! :sad2: Please tell me I'm not the only one!

Well, I actually hate buying travel size stuff since it costs so much more per ounce and I swore I wouldn't take any with us and I would just buy full-sized stuff when we got down there. Then I hit the shampoo aisle at Tarjay and found the full sized with free travel sized shampoo AND conditioner attached. I pulled out my cell and calculated that it was cheaper per ounce to buy that than the big bottle I was looking at! I bought four!!! I won't need to buy shampoo for two years! Each of our little quart size bags has little bottles of shampoo and conditioner in it. After that I hit the body wash aisle and found the same thing. :teeth: Our carry-ons are now 16.6 ounces heavier.

Parla!!! I'm so sorry, I missed your post!!! But, :welcome: happy to have you hear... grab a cocktail and hang on!

Thanks for the welcome. You missed me while trying to get an Illuminations Cruise. You are forgiven. ;)

You rock, Parla!!!:woohoo:

Not only do you trudge through this smorgasboard of a pre-trip report, but you even quote on previous installments?!?!? Yes, you are a DISers DISer!

DH is sitting here next to me and I reminded him of the ol' steak in the trash episode! :lmao: :headache:

I see your ticker is similar to G-Luv and Meeskas... do you have a meet planned??:confused3

Memories... light the corners of my mind... :rotfl:

Good times.

Yes, we have a meet planned!

We are gonna meet---probly several times!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

We are actually going to be in the same parks on all three of the full days that my family has so I'm expecting to run into each other many times (that's my nice way of saying that I'm stalking G-Luv). :teeth:

Our girls night is on Thursday... ...if you were still there you should have totally come!!!

We'll still love you...with your scrunchies and all!!!

don't tell anyone...but I have a soccer mom scrunchie with soccer balls on it!!! :scared1: I don't wear it...but I have it!!!

Good to know that you will love me with all my scrunchified faults!

Bwahahahaha!!! :rotfl2: I have an OLD... I'm talkin' old faded and ratty ol, smelly black and white Paul Mitchell scrunchie. I don't wear it, but I just can't seem to part with it. :confused3

Parla, you can trade that old scrunchie for a some new sleek ouchless pony tail holders from Target. I buy the 20 pack in black and brown for $2.99. Very nice. :thumbsup2 Beats the 80's scrunch, hands down!

Well, I bought some of the grip ones that won't slide and OUCH do they hurt to take out. My hair is so thick I'm a little concerned about the little ouchless ones staying in or even lasting for more than a couple of hours. I usually end up popping those things. I will have to remember not to wear any scrunchies in the world though. I don't want to see the back of my head in someone's people watching post. ;)

Maddie is holding a beautiful bunch of carrots and Evan's got a bell pepper in his hands. We also picked some green peas and the string beans should be ready in a few weeks. I've been on the DIS way too long today but I'm so proud that I'm caught up here. Earlier DD saw the picture of Evan at Knott's Berry Farm and asked who it was. I had to explain him because she also has a cousin named Evan and a friend from school named Evan. Just now she saw this picture and said, "Is that Evan again? Oh, and I see his sister." She's ready for a Disneyland meet! :rotfl:

Love those home-grown veggies! I don't have enough room for a real garden but have tomatoes in pots on my patio, plus a container herb garden with basil, organo, thyme, parsley, and mint. I have to go to the farmers' market for everything else. I know the kids enjoy growing all the goodies too!
I have to confess, this is the first time I've ever planted anything! I'm green thumbless, believe it or not! :confused3
I love the farmers' market! We haven't been this year yet, but sound you've reminded me to hit it on Friday! Thanks!
Well its 12:30 am and I have to go to work tomorrow but I accomplished my goal tonight....I used your handy dandy contents and read thru each chapter. Welcome, welcome, 2b4him! :welcome: And thanks for joining! I salute you for attempting to tackle this wacky pre-tr! :woohoo:

PS I didnt know scrunchies were out. Luckily I cut all my hair off and don't need them anymore.
Psst.... :ssst: they're ok as long as you don't accessorize them with silk flowers! :lmao:

Fun, Fun an update from DLMamma! I was just poking at my inbox as I wait for my Baklava to finish baking.
 Did you say homemade Baklava??? OMG! Yum-o!

Great job on the veggies. I have never grown a garden and don't think I could, as I have no green thumbs...(but a loy of lime green fingers;) and if I attmeped one, I am sure the rabbits would gobble it up.
You know, I was quite surprised anything actually grew!

Thanks H-dawg! We actually had a great time gettin' down and dirty! :dance3:
YOU GOT IT!!!!!!!WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!
I am so happy for you guys.
Thanks, T! I was/am totally stoked!! :cool1:

Ok so I guess you dont want to hear that we are having DS4 b-day party in 2 weeks and I havent secured the Bounce Houses, tent, tables, chairs and all the other party stuff yet BUT I do have the ninja turtle paper products for the kiddies
:scared1: Evan's 3rd b-day party is on 7/28. You can believe I've got every thing ready for it. With the exception of the goody bags! And everything else is on my handy dandy spreadsheet. Sad, I know.

The kids are so cute and the garden looks great. We love to plant veggies here, and love to eat them to...Oh I love fresh warm mozzarella with roasted peppers and basil....yum yum yum....I think I am off to the market..
Roasted peppers, you say? Never thought of that..... hmmmmm. I'll have to try that, very soon! I bet that's good in a panini, eh? I asked for a Panini press for my b-day, let's hope I get to create a panini masterpiece! :cloud9:

Love the little vegetable garden!!! Maybe someday I will be ambitious enought to try that!!! They look so proud of thier good work!!!
Thanks, Meeska! They were so very excited to watch me pull the carrots out of the ground!

Nope - makes perfect sense to me! Are you doing ME from MCO?
I knew you'd understand! ;) Yes, we're doing ME to the resort. Haven't decided if we'll do ME to MCO. I may have to hire a car service. That extra hour is pretty precious to me.

I know we'll have a great time at the pool, but boy do I wish we could have a video link to your guys on the golf course! I just know that's gonna be a hoot
I'm fearing the antics Waldo's gonna pull! :scared: Andy will relish telling me all the gory details, I'm sure!

Tracy those veggies are marvelous do you have quick growing plants over there as it only seems about 3 weeks you told us you planted them
Well, I do confess to using Miracle Grow! But I believe it was in late March that we planted. :confused3

I wish we could afford to take my dad with us but I'm not sure he would even go if we could. Maybe in a few years we could but we would have to rent a scooter since his knees couldn't take all that walking.
I highly recommend it! There's something about seeing your kids with their grandparent(s) surrounded by Disney magic! :wizard:

Tracy those veggies are marvelous do you have quick growing plants over there as it only seems about 3 weeks you told us you planted them
Well, I do confess to using Miracle Grow! But I believe it was in late March that we planted. :confused3
I will have to remember not to wear any scrunchies in the world though. I don't want to see the back of my head in someone's people watching post.
:rotfl2:
I've been on the DIS way too long today but I'm so proud that I'm caught up here. Earlier DD saw the picture of Evan at Knott's Berry Farm and asked who it was. I had to explain him because she also has a cousin named Evan and a friend from school named Evan. Just now she saw this picture and said, "Is that Evan again? Oh, and I see his sister." She's ready for a Disneyland meet!
:rotfl:

Was it really MARCH that you planted that garden??? Where has the time gone? Oh yeah, here:laughing: My garden is sagging under the dry spring here in the SE. It's pityful, really. My tomato plant is droopy. My cucumber is barely flowering, and a rabbit is eating the strawberries even though they are only about a half inch long. :confused3

AND HEY! Score on the cruise!

Okay.

Ready for more shopping.

We're pushing the 80 day mark.... well, in about 5 days. But who's counting, right?

:confused3 What...who? Us? Wanna know how many hours/minutes/seconds till my flight lands?!!?!?:lmao:

We had a great weekend. The Ducks came over and we grilled and chilled. I didn't want to talk about the trip. Ok, who am I kidding. I was dying to talk about the trip, I love going over the details and just chatting about everything really just melts my butter. But.... I refrained from busting out with WDW facts and travel jumble, only because I don't want to kill them with my endless details. I'll save that for my DIS friends, eh? :lmao:
IKWUM...kills me not to just chat about details...I try and put a new spin on it so it sounds fresh to DH every other day or so! Of course, with all the changes/adds...I guess it is kind of fresh to him:rolleyes1

And then it hit me.... we haven't figured out how we're going to get 10 bodies and 10-15 pieces of luggage to the airport! :scared1: I know it's actually cheaper to go by limosine, but I've haven't booked anything or gotten quotes from any companies. I've got to work on that, pronto! :thumbsup2 We're going to try for a 10 passenger and then Daisy's dad will follow in his van with all the luggage. Strange, I know. :rolleyes1

OMG - all I can picture is that crazy scene from Home Alone when they all piled into the vans...make sure you count heads!!

LL Pm'd me with all the golf information. Her DH Tony, Jo's DH David, Waldo and my DH Andy are golfing on the morning of the 25th at 9am ish. Thank God, LL gave me all the hairy details. Waldo was driving me up a wall with his questions. So that's set. Let's see..... oh, yes our Illuminations Cruise is all set. I'm going to call again tomorrow and see if I can get a different date. I'm a little concerned because we have an ADR at Rose & Crown at 6:20 on the IROE cruise night. We have to check in at the Yacht Club at 8:00 pm. Is that enough time? I might see if we can book Spoodles for 5:00 ish and try to change R&C to our Spoodles night. KWIM? But, that won't be until Thursday. popcorn::

I agree...6:20 COULD BE tight...I was psyched to read you got a cruise though! We did the Illuminations Breathless cruise for my B-Day last year...it was awesome. Well, with the exception of Cruella, who, no matter how hard we tried to dump her, she just kept hanging on, like a cat to a window screen...pirate:

:goodvibes

UP NEXT: MORE SHOPPING BARGAINS WITH TRACY!

Yay - the kids look so cute! I tried to talk Tony into letting me do a small garden, but the arms flailed and the neck craned and he mumbled something about how he'd have to do all the work, yada yada yada...:rolleyes1

What??? Lover says I've still got 82 days?!?!?! That's ok, I've still got some shopping to do, some ADR's to change, and some serious tanning coming my way! ;)

So with 82 days left, you know I'm just itchin' to change my ADR's around. I'm a little concerned with our IROE cruise and our R&C ADR. First I called WDW-Play to see if I could score an IROE cruise for our last night, but none were available. Hey, why mess with success, right? So I called Dining and fanagled our ADR's 'round. I actually was able to switch our R&C night to our Spoodles night and vice versa. On our IROE cruise night, we now have ADR's for Spoodles at 5:30 ish and if we finish up before 8pm, we can peruse the Boardwalk and/or the Boardwalk resorts. :thumbsup2
That being said, I cancelled all our superfluous ADR's so some other schmuck could grab 'em up. Just kidding, about the schmuck part. :rolleyes1

So this past weekend, The Enabler hit Macy's to take advantage of the Memorial Day sales. WHOA! She came back with some really cute things. Not at all the granny-wear she usually purchases. Nothing had embroidered butterflies or bird-houses! She bought some cute, what I would call "yoga wear". Soft pants and tops with matching zip fronts. KWIM? I loved all the pieces she bought. She even offered to take me right back at that moment and treat me to an early birthday present. :woohoo: I scored some really cute pieces and now have what I call my "travel outfit" :lmao:
I was showing my new things to Andy and Waldo then decided he needed to do some shopping, too. :sad2:

Waldo decided to hit Kohls on Super Senior Wednesday! :lmao: When seniors get an additional 15% off. Of course, I had to tag along to see what I could mooch off my parents. :rolleyes1 Waldo picked up around 5 pairs of shorts and a dozen new shirts. Man, he's worse than a woman! Of couse, the Enabler was at her best. Convincing him not to just get one of those shirts, but to get 2. They are 50% off and it's like getting one for free, practically, right? She did the same to him with the shorts and socks! FDM, The Enabler style!
If you may recall, I had scoped out the hats and glasses before and went back to try on the infamous "cowboy" hat. I ended up deciding, I could pull it off and threw that into the basket. :cool2: I also grabbed some super sweet aviator sunglasses! :cool1: So we go to check out and I just throw my purchases along with Waldo's. Happy Birthday to me, again!

So here comes the moment. The moment that I wish I could shrink down to Alice in Wonderlands size. The scanning of the merchandise..... Every item the poor check out girl scans, Waldo has to check and double check. Well, apparently 2 pairs of his shorts, which before the 50% off were $44 each. After the 50%, they should have rung up to $21.99 according to the sign on the rack, right? Well, of course, the didn't. They rang up $24.99. Yup, $3 more. So, now we've got half a dozen customers behind us and Waldo is huffing and puffing that the sign says $21.99 and the poor girl can't figure out why they're not ringing correctly and tells Waldo that maybe it's because of the color... yada, yada, yada. I can feel the frustration of the poor check out girl and all the people behind us. Now, seriously, $6??? I tell Waldo, to forget about it and just let it go. He'll still get another 15% off the 24.99, right? He's going on and on about how things aren't marked right, and how they jack up the prices to make it look like a sale and really he's paying full price, he read on the internet how these companies are making so much money... blah, blah, blah! Evan is getting pissy, Maddie is hungry, The Enabler is  . So I reach into my pocketbook and grab $6 and give them to Waldo. "Here, now can we go?" I'm about to be on the 11 o'clock news at this point. I finally have to walk away and head out the door. The Enabler and Waldo meet us in the car and then Waldo says, "Oh, these $24 shorts are golf shorts, that's why they're more.! :scared:

Do you think I got my 6 bucks back? Yeah, you're right, I didn't!

So, that's all the update for now. I'm hoping it warms up this weekend so we can open up our pool and I can work on my tan. Gotta hide the thighs somehow!! :rotfl2:

Nice early pressies :thumbsup2 Waldo just gets better and better :lmao: So which ADR's have you got? I kinda got lost with all the ADR's flying around :rotfl:

So the little email hits my in box and I say to myself...

Myself...what the H@ll did Waldo do this time?
Self replies...It's gotta be funny if Tracy is posting.

Sure enough, you had me running to the potty. You know a girl who's beared some kidlets can only laugh so much... you know this, right?

I would have handed him the cash too. To bad you didn't get it back...BUT you scored a cowboy hat that Maddie thinks you can't pull off. :lmao:
