No way!!! Ewwww!!! I do have a hand thing, as well.So do you not have man hands then?![]()
Thank you, thank you very much. I think it's her jawline, very masculine. Almost drag queen-esque. Not that there's anything wrong with drag queens. In fact, there's this fantabulous drag show in Laguna Beach on Thursday nights at the Boom Boom Room, that I highly recommend. There's this Annie Lenox drag look alike, she/he looks awesome!!OMG! Edie totally does have man hands and man face! I thought I was the only one who thought that!
Well, since you asked......So....what's new?

Well I didn't but yeah what........................Well, since you asked......
I know, you're right. It's not the end of the world. Thanks for bringing that into perspective for me!I'm sorry Tracy...
I'm a speech therapist...and I'm also on my district's autism team. The first step is to take the baby to a developmental pediatrician. If he is 2, he needs to be speaking...
Many of these signs CAN be indicators of autism, BUT it has to be diagnosed by a medical doctor. Don't freak before you know...KWIM??
My DS is also "on the spectrum"...it's hard...but it's not the end of the world. There is wonderful help out there.
First step is to have him seen by a developmental ped.
Hi, Tracy. Y'all are mega-posters over here!! It took a while to catch up after my return last weekend from the magic! I just had to tell you that DD treated me to my first lapu last week. They were great.
When the kids were small we went to the beach one year and our condos were next to a fancy motel where they had a pool bar. While walking around one day DD saw ladies with fancy drinks with fruit garnishes and parasols and decided that when she was grown up that was what she wanted! Her idea of the lap of luxury as a grown-up from the perspective or an 8 or 9 year old! So shed said the lapus were the fulfillment of her fantasy! How fun is that?

And your DH sounds a lot like mine! Every time he saw me pick up the laptop he made a negative comment of some kind, and I didn't even show him the stuff I was saving and printing. But while we were there he made the comment to DD that no one can plan for Disney like your mother. So the appreciation WAS there, even if he wouldn't let me see it!
(Stubborn men!)
Good luck with the baby. Here's hoping it is just developmental and personality and not a real problem. It is so tough for mom and baby for dad to be away at this age too.![]()
ITA! Let's hope for the best!Tracy ditto what Jen said get the baby's parents to have him/her checked out properly it could be a number of things but the earlier it's spotted the better!
Thanks, V!Tracy -I have no advice, but lots of sympathy!
I KNOW!!!! I was dying to get over there and check things out! Thankfully, none of my park days were affected!Tracy have you seen your lover has updated the best days!
Thank you, Michelle!Wow! That's rough. I hope R has safe tour of duty and that baby R is really OK, just a little late with the talking & socializing...![]()
Thanks, Pjv! I hope they get to celebrate when he returns, safely in 15 months, as well!Tracy-
I do hope your nephew is safe. I have a friend whose DH is returning next week, from a 1 year tour in Iraq (he was borrowed from the Navy). They are Going to Disney to celebrate! I have been busy planning their whole trip!
Thanks, T! I really appreciate it!What a difficult situation. I wish I had some great advice or some words of wisdom. Please know that my thoughts are with you and them during this time and J will be in my prayers for a safe tour and return home. HOpefully they can celebrate in Disney when R returns.
LL! You made me cry! I really do commend him for the sacrafices he is making for all of us!Sorry to hear about Baby R, but if he's otherwise healthy, he's still a blessing, but he should definitely be seen by someone.Hugs to all of you in this tough time. I hope your nephew stays safe over there. And give him a message from my family - please thank him for his service to our country!!
Tracy...I thought better of what I said...
