Hi Disneyland mama.
I was a Birth to 3 services coordinator for children with special needs. Like others have said there should be services for the baby. She should look when she gets to her home town and see where she can go for services. For us all the parent had to do was call and make a referal for there child and we took it from there. We did everything from getting them approved for services through the state, to getting MD orders for treatment, to scheduling all the testing that needed to be done for the child. I LOVED this job! It was amazing to me what these therapists could do for these kids!

What is sad about the whole situation while working here I never saw the signs and symptoms of my own child. They are very mild ( I think he has Aspberger Syndrome) and we have been through heck to get him diagnosed. We finally are seeing a really good doctor and have him in a new school district which he qualified for services. But at the time he was little me being a new mom didn't think anything of the way he acted and behaved. It wasn't until he hit 3rd grade that we really saw the problems. School was a nightmare! So try try try to let this babies mother know what you suspect! The earlier this child gets help the better. You should tell them to move to Wisconsin! The services they have her for kids with autism is fantastic!! Good luck with everything! :grouphug:

Thanks for the advice. I saw baby R again last night. He truely doesn't say a word, not even Mama. Which is really tough for J. J knows he needs to be seen and she's already scheduled him for an evaluation for as soon as they return to TX. Let's all hope for the best! :pixiedust:

How's my friend, Mr. Pigglesworth? :goodvibes

Wow!! A three way tie! Good guess, ladies. Yes, it was Waldo! :rotfl2:
can't wait to hear about this...

T-Ball fighting already???? :lmao: I hate dirty teams, well, actually I hate dirty coaches. If they already are teaching kids to play dirty in the t-ball level, I can imagine it all goes downhill from there, eh? :sad2:

You haven't been shouting and cheering too loudly have you? /QUOTE]
No, but I did get a warning from the umpire about swearing. Oopsy, was that me???? :confused3 I only said "What the h-e-double hockey sticks?" at his bad call. BTW, that kid was OUT by a long shot!!! :rolleyes1

Anyway, it is true, Waldo has been banned from Little League field. Guess who banned him? DONALD!!!! :rotfl2: Banned by your own son. :sad2:

It all started on Saturday........ (insert Waynes World time travel score)

Dewey had a baseball game in the middle of the afternoon. We all piled into the car (yes, the minivan, LL;) ) and headed to the game. Waldo parked himself in his fold up chair right next to the dugout, right next to where the head coach, who happens to be Donald, sits. Let's just say Deweys team is less than stellar. :rolleyes1 They win some, they lose some, and sometimes they get mercied. :lmao: So at Saturday's game, Waldo decided to give the color commentary, and just happened to be within earshot of Donald.

"What the hecks the matter with that kid?!?!" "This is baseball, not golf!!!" "Don't just stand there, hit the $%#@ ball!!!" "Jeez Louise, what are these kids doing?!?!?" "Use your glove, Dewey!!!"

I'm sitting there with my face in my hands, completely mortified. :sad2: Donald on the other hand moves his hanging clipboard and attaches it right at Waldos face level, further "blocking" Waldo from Donalds sight. OMG! That was a riot! How I wish I had a magic clipboard that I could hang infront of Waldo sometimes!!! :lmao: I finally have to tell Waldo to keep his comments to his self. Dewey's team won by the skin of their teeth! :teeth: Donald is about to blow! I can see it and I hurry Waldo along and get him outta there!

So Dewey had a game last night. We got the call yesterday..... Waldo cannot come back to the field this season! At all! :rotfl2: Of course, not that he cares.....:rolleyes1 :rotfl: Poor Waldo, famous or infamous for giving back seat advice. Backseat parenting, backseat coaching, backseat driving.... you name it, he does it! :sad2: He'll probably try to give Jo's DH (you know the golf pro :thumbsup2) golfing lessons!!! :rotfl2:

For teh record, I was totally saying Waldo, too. Not my fault I can't post till lunch!

OMG!!! that sounds just like my MIL... for the past 2-3 years on tball (we've had 4 kids go through and still in tball- nieces, nephews and my kids) my SIL and I have been begging Coach DH to give her a hat and shirt and put her at 1st base!!:lmao:
next year may be our last so maybe he will do it then!!

she drives us craaaazzzzyyyyy!!! b/c ya know she raised 2 boys- one who played ball through HS so she knows ALL ABOUT baseball!!!;)

it's fuuny and then again it's not they way some parents get so into the game- in our case these kids are 5-7 YO and the parents are playing dirty!!! what in the h-e-double hockey sticks are you teaching these kids!!!

sorry about that tangent... and i didn't quote quite right...:sad2:

OMG - Waldo is just TOOOO freakin' funny!!:lmao:

Oh, the shame! The horror! :scared1: What in the world has gotten into Waldo?! :headache: That's too funny! :lmao: I just knew it had to be him! :hippie:

I can't wait to read the trip report with all of them at WDW. :lmao:

I had to share this with you guys.... it's really funny.

I hit the mall yesterday. I know! Anyway, I was looking for a moo-moo to wear for pool day. I'm kidding.... or am I? Well, not exactly a moo-moo, but a nice bathing suit cover up, not a really a sarong, but something along those lines. Sorry, where was I? :scratchin: Oh, yes, so on the way to the swim wear department, I make a slight detour to the hats & glasses. I loves me the HUGE sunglasses. You know, the BIG Jackie-O glasses. Gotta have lots of pairs of those. :cool2: Anyway, as I'm perusing the glasses, I spy the hats. Super sweet!! I loves me hats, too.
So, Maddie, Evan and I are playing in the accessories department and I find this uber cool cowboyish hat. I throw it on with my SUPER fly sunglasses and strut my stuff. I'm a model you know what I mean, and I do my little strut on the catwalk  :lmao:
Much to the shagrin of my tiny tots.:sad2: Miss Fashionista, tells me, "Umm, mama, I don't think you can pull that one off." :rotfl2:
Yup, me. Bubble. Burst.
Needless to say, I threw the hat back on the rack and grabbed the glasses! :lmao: I really need to learn to shop alone, fo sho!! :lmao:

Gotta love the kiddies!!!It is so amazing at the things they come out with..Just where do they learn all this....preschool??!!?!?!

DS4 has told me that I am too old to where a 2 piece bathing suit as well as short skirts!!!UNREAL these kids

Waldo Rocks! You seriously need to write a book about that man! Where is Waldo- find the trouble Waldo is in today book.

At least he means well. I think.;)

Maddie has got her some fashionista sense. You go Lil'l Girl!:)
