Memory Maker

Question about the Memory Maker... is it linked to all the magic bands registered on MyDisneyExperience account or just one person? The reason I ask is that I don't ride some of the rides that have photos taken on them but my kids do. If I purchase the memory maker I want to make sure we could get those ride photos even if I don't ride the ride but someone in our party does.

It is linked to everyone on the MDE account of the person who purchases Memory Maker.

What happened to our family: I had MDE account with everyone on it. DH created his own MDE account. We linked our accounts and we could both see all FP, ADR, etc. However, when it came to Memory Maker, any photos that his band was scanned for did not automatically show up; same for ride photos. DH and DS rode Space Mountain and DD and I did not.

The trick was that he had to share his photos with me. I believe there is a way to do this online, however, not having a clue, I called Disney Photo Services and the issue was resolved in 5 minutes.

SHORT VERSION... YES, everyone's MB is linked to the memory maker, you just may have to "share" photos if another family member has a registered MDE account.

I have a similar question. I will be traveling with my in-laws and we have separate rooms. I booked everything myself, but the reservation shows up on my MDE in the in-laws name. They don't have a MDE account. Is there something I need to do to make sure that everyone in my party can use the MM I purchased for this trip? We may or may not split up throughout the day and I want to make sure I get all the pictures they have done.

As long as all the tickets show up in your MDE, everyone is linked together and can use their own Magic Band to scan for photopass pics or will be linked for ride photos.
